Customer Reviews:

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Quality The backing for a new fly line (had to purchase from DSG online) was exactly what I needed to be ready fro an upcoming trip to fish some of Colorado's best trout waters. It is the correct weight and length to back up the new Rio "Grand" WF6F for the trip in early October. September 8, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good product quality, but pricey... I have use this backing for my Rio fly lines for 15 years or more and been very satisfied. In the past, however, I bought the line in bulk spools of 300 yards, which was considerably cheaper on a per-yard basis. As a general comment, I've been disappointed to see Dick's carrying so few fly fishing products. Sort of forces us fly fishers to buy online or from specialty fly shops. June 24, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Has your back... Dull product category but Rio's product is solid and did not disappoint. No memory to speak of and loaded easy. April 9, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Dacron flyline backing Overpriced, but the only item available that would suffice. They used to sell cheap 30 lb. test backing line in big spools for a lot less. I'm assuming that it's as good as any other. The bright yellow fluorescent color should be easily visible in low light and serve as a warning that the line has run out. June 11, 2012
