Excellent for bass especially in high wooded areas

Yumbrella too juicy
Overall, the product is sufficient for throwing an umbrella rig but the quality of the swimbaits are poor compared to competitors. The plastic around the eyes was very soft and sticky. Most of it rubbed right off during rigging. The bodies themselves are a little too ridged, which hurts their swimming action. In my opinion, there is room for improvement.

Looks and Swims Great!
Looks good in the water, and swims great. Slits in the bottom of the bait for easy rigging

looks good but isnt
i used these for a day.. when i was rigging the "shad" onto the jigheads the eyeballs fell off and had all sorts of sticky gell glue substance got all over the place.. the shad also ripped quite easily when pulling them thru some weeds.

Good action, but the eyes all came off.
When I was assembling this jig, all but one of the fish's eyes came off. Other than that, the lure's action was nice and realistic. For a couple dollars more you can get the original rig lures and they even have the arrow shaped hook weights which work better with the design of the shad.

great swimming action
The money minnow on a light jig head can be cast in shallow weedy water and effectively retrieved to entice bass, especially where current is present. It is a killer technique for great lakes smallmouth. The only negative is that are vastly overpriced.

Good value for quality baits
Whether you use this kit with an A-rig or not, it is a good value considering the swimbaits alone retail for about $10, and you get the jig head too. The action is good, although not the most lively on the market. There's a right time and place for everything.
