used a few weeks and no malaria...so far The net isn't very sturday and did receive quite a few tears along the seams in a 2 week use period. was expecting better quality from Dicks. Served it's purpose tho, kept the bugs off while I was snoozing as far as I know. Would be a much nicer product if it included a few shot plastic rods for support so it didn't have to lay flat on you...bugs can surely bite thru it. Duct tape didn't stick in Haiti - too humid, so couldn't tape it up and off me either. All in all it served it's purpose, and was affordable - even if you have to buy a new one every trip. no blood donation My camping trip with the scouts this year was very enjoyable since I had the mosquito netting. Set up was easy and I didn't have any issues with the insects (mosquitoes) that hounded me last year. The light weight compactability made it easy to pack with limit space in the foot locker. Easy to set up. Not pretreated. This mosquito net was not too hard to hang, but I had to buy a pyrethrin spray to pre-treat it. Not difficult, but it added to the cost. July 30, 2012
Open platform tent with cots While listed as a single was able to push cots together and cover with queen air matress. Netting was stretched over matress which made it a bit challenging to get in bed but worked well to keep the many spiders and biting insects off for 5 days camping July 23, 2012
