They did their job. While they took a short while to initially catch, once they did, they kept going until they were gone. November 18, 2014

Works Well Does the job. I would recommend this product to anyone. September 15, 2014
Burns well as fire starting tender I have used this on numerous occasions to start fires used as a tinder source and can say it works well under most circumstances. It is water resistant as advertised and burns well for lighting tinder. I have used a ferro rod to light the sticks with little effort but the sticks have to be shaved down a little with a knife to get them lit with a ferro rod. The sticks are light weight and burn for approximately 7 to 9 minutes. In windy conditions ( 10 to 15 mph ) you will need to the stick from direct wind exposure until fully lit but they will burn once fully lit. The flame height reaches around 5 to 10 inches in height depending on wind conditions. I usually only use a partial stick for basic fire starting. I really like this product. It burns well, easily, and is cheap for the amount of material you get! September 10, 2014
Good Product Good product, makes it easy to get a fire going with just a match. September 2, 2014
Great for emergency situation I purchased these only for the scenario that I couldn't find any dry tender to start a fire... and it was a good thing I did. First trip of the season and it rained nearly the entire weekend. Thankfully these helped me start a fire almost effortlessly. Really cheap and really good product. Buy them! August 10, 2014
Great accessory I bought this as a inexpensive accessory to try out. It works fantastic. Some notes: If your trying to light it with just a match it wont go (even a long burning match), but if you simply cut into it, make a small pile of "fluff" from the inside, put the match to that, the fluff will go up in flames, and is powerful enough to get the main stick to burn. Also for curiosity sakes, it says water resistant, so I soaked a piece of the stick (I cut each stick into 7 smaller pieces, which is still more than enough to get a fire going) for over 1 hr, completely submerged to simulate a leaky zip-lock bag, that rather than protecting from water, ended up being a pool of it. Good news, same trick, cut into the center, you can find dry fluff, light the fluff, and even a wet stick will burn. Great product! August 10, 2014
Good firestarters Bought these to help start campfires and light charcoal. Works as described. July 15, 2014
Couldn't have started the fire without it The campsite was so windy, it was impossible to start the fire without this. This was a lifesaver for us. I used a small Big lighter to light one end which started right away and we were able to start the fire in the fire ring and the grill. July 9, 2014
Fire sticks Great product. Easy to use. 1/2 a stick easily starts a fire in my fire pit. June 26, 2014
