Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Item for my Sensory Seeking son My son absolutely loves this. He is 7 years old and will spend an hour to two a night just hitting this.. My daughter is 6 and she loves it too.. She stands on a trampoline and hits it and ducks down. Perfect for kids and Parents as well.. Just make sure you get the gloves and head gear for kiddos. Rated 1 out of 5 by POOR QUALITY I bought and within a few days the bag started separating from the bar and had to stop and push it back down every few punches. A HUGE waste of money. February 7, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Spring bent, now it just droops to the side. I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas and he was so excited that I gave it to him early. He used it for about three days and loved it. The next day when he was using it like normal the spring on the top bent so now it doesn't come back right and just kinda droops. I plan on returning it. I'm very dissatisfied that I spent $100 on this for it to break in 4 days. December 8, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good Idea, Bad Design After 2 weeks of use, a twist knob stripped out. I contacted Everlast and they sent me a new mid section. Well, once the springs are tightened, they aren't meant to take apart. So, I am probably going to contact Everlast again and ask for a new unit. Also, the springs wore out after a month of use. The idea of the self-supporting punching bag is great and it really is a good workout. This unit has just been poorly built and can't seem to hold up. I would expect much greater quality for the price. October 31, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by DO NOT BUY This is a piece of junk. Cannot believe they get away with selling this as training equipment. Everlast makes garbage. October 12, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by great idea, but.... i had been wanting this thing since i first saw it a few months ago and finally had the chance to buy one, so i thought i'd pick it up to get back into working out again now that the kids are going back to school, (i'm a work at home dad). but in the week that i had it, it broke! in the first week! now mind you, i wasn't goin' at full throttle, i was just playin' around with it, a light jab here, maybe a hook or upper there, and not even for 10 mins. at a time! and where it broke was a surprise. right at the shaft base. there is a spring there so the shaft can tilt to a fair degree in any direction, so while the spring itself is fairly heavy duty, the shaft itself just cracked, came right off! it's welded to the piece that's screws to the base, and the shaft broke right above that weld. maybe i just got a bad one out of the lot, but i decided not to exchange it for another, didn't want to go through the same disappointment. Rated 1 out of 5 by bad broke before using will want a refund , or a new one to actually try it. July 10, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great product Great for hand eye coordination, speed, and accuracy. Easy to assemble and very fun to use. Even using just water the base is pretty stable and the rest of the equipment is surprisingly durable. June 7, 2012
