Featuring a high impact ABS shell, the Momentum protects your little one against each impact with a dual density cushioning system. The bridge of the nose is protected by a fully-wrapped front bumper, while the front shell design allows for maximum peripheral vision. RAWLINGS HELMET FITTING GUIDE:

  • A properly fitted helmet is an important first step in player protection. To determine head size, wrap a cloth measuring tape around the circumference of the player's head. Measure approximately 1" above the player's eyebrows at the widest point. Record measurement and refer to chart below:

  • XX-SMALL: Hat Size - 6" - 6-1/4"; Circumference - 18-7/8" - 19-5/8"
  • X-SMALL: Hat Size - 6-3/8 - 6-1/2"; Circumference - 20" - 20-3/8"
  • SMALL: Hat Size - 6-5/8" - 6-7/8"; Circumference - 20-7/8" - 21-5/8"
  • MEDIUM: Hat Size - 7" - 7-1/8"; Circumference - 21-3/4" - 22-3/8"
  • LARGE: Hat Size - 7-1/8" - 7-1/4"; Circumference - 22-3/8" - 22-3/4"
  • LARGE: Hat Size - 7-3/8" - 7-1/2"; Circumference - 23-1/8" - 23-1/2"
  • NOTE: If measurement falls between helmet sizes, choose the smaller size
  • Since every head is shaped differently, this size chart may not indicate the appropriate size for every player

CHECKING FOR A PROPER HELMET FIT:

  • Interlock hands on top of helmet and press down - player should feel pressure on crown of their head, not their brow
  • Skin of the forehead should move with the front pad
  • Front of helmet should be about 1" above the eyebrows
  • Jaw pads should feel firm against the face
  • There should be no room for twisting
  • To avoid injury or discomfort, never wear a helmet positioned too high or too low

ADJUSTING THE CHIN STRAP:

  • Tighten all straps evenly until secure
  • Cup should be centered and snug over their chin
  • Adjust chin strap until cup is firmly pressed against their chin
  • When buckled, helmet should feel comfortable and snug

Great helmet with a lot of protection fo My sons middle sachool gave him a garbage cheap Riddell helmet with minimal padding. This helmet gave my son added protection all around his head, Fits great and he loves it. August 18, 2012
Don't get this I used this For my football season and the pads leaked glue in my hair and the pads keep falling out I would not recomend it August 1, 2012
