Rated 5 out of 5 by I was looking for this yo be an expensive item but it was so cheap and on sale:) The kids play this for hours they love it! I was looking for this yo be an expensive item but it was so cheap and on sale:) September 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good but not great Well Made but a pain to install in ground. Needs to be cemented August 7, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not worth the 70 dollars! I wish I had read reviews before purchasing this. This set was easy enough to put together, but NOT easy to get into the ground (and we do NOT have rocky soil) the pole just is so big, and not narrow enough to easily install. Even though 2 men worked to get it into the ground, and got it all the way in (after an hour) it wobbles around in the ground! This set definitely needs to be cemented. In addition, the clip has already broken. It's too bad. My kids were so excited. But the clip continually breaking, and the ball falling off, in addition to it being unstable, makes it less than enjoyable to play with. I wish I had saved the box so I could return it. Oh, it's been 3 weeks since we bought it, and the base is already rusting. Save your money. Don't buy this. July 20, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great set I was concern that the set would not stand strong as I, my husband, and five grandchildren played over and over, day after day. It's really standing stronger than I had expected.. Great set for the $$. July 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Solid Product We bought this for my 9yr olds Birthday - it was easy to assemble and she has enjoyed it. It has a stake on the bottom so you don't have to cement it in to the ground, but that does make the poll a little wobbly. June 25, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by If I could return it I would. Spike went into the ground very well. The two poles that snap together do not have a tight fit therefore making the pole very unstable. The poles wobble all over the place making it difficult to hit the ball. May 28, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by TetherBall review My kids love this! I was so happy to finally find one. Unfortunately, the clip broke after one week of use. Now we just tie it on. I was so dissappointed. It also wobbles because the main pole is in three parts. It doesn't connect tight. My girls are still using it though. April 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by cost effective I bought for the price a decent teatherball set. 1. It was cheap 2. easy install 3. Didn't expect much from it For what it is its good, but honestly if my wife didn't buy it outright I would have purchased better quality materials and made a better set. these are simple to make and she definatley overpayed as I've repaired it 3 times (not the same fixes). Where the poles join they easily bend outwards the more the game is played. I would consider welding them if you have the means. The metal clips are trash, just tie the rope through it. The ball is cheap and hard. if you can buy a nice leather one and your hands will thank you. taking them down and placing them inside is a must as weather takes its toll on these balls. Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor quality The tetherball pole was easy to assemble but after about 30 minutes of use the pole split right up the middle where you could see the seam where it was molded together. I would imagine they would all do this at some point of use. October 22, 2012
