camping foods this meal was inexpensive and had good tasted as compared to some of the competitor foods February 26, 2013
Not recommended I took this product hunting and was not impressed by the quality of it. The beans that were in it never really reconstituted and if there were some sort of eggs in it I could not distinguish them from the mush that made up the rest of it. September 11, 2012
Just OK Not my favorite, kind of bland August 21, 2012
From the scout's perspective, it was OK Not the easiest dish to prepare on the trail and "get right". As a result, the texture left quite a bit to be desired but the overall flavor was pretty good. April 30, 2012
pretty good but... You have to be very careful with the amount of water you use. Too much water and you're eating mush, not enough and the beans don't cook leaving them hard and bitter tasting. Also, it would be easier if you could cook this meal in the bag like the other meals. The cook time and proces is a lot longer than the others. April 4, 2012
Way Better than Expected! I have to admit, I was a little afraid of dried eggs, but the Huevos Rancheros definitely far exceeded my expectations. Wrapped in a tortilla, it makes an awesome breakfast burrito. Great flavor, good amount of heat (but not too much). My boyfriend and I shared it for breakfast, with some coffee and fruit leathers. Very satisfying. March 27, 2012
