Rated 2 out of 5 by Cuddy back Ambush Daytime pictures are fine but nighttime pictures are horrible! Grainy and blurry hard to tell what the animal or object is. This is my last cuddyback. Cheaper camera's take better pictures. October 5, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very dependable This is jot my first cuddeback and won't be my last. September 8, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not Bad Bought 3 of these. One didnt work at all. Returned for a replacement. No problems since July 30, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hard to see information all information is inside camera so you need to take it out of the holder open it up and then try to find the information like number of pics taken etc. Not intuitive enough for me as other trial cameras I own have all info accessible from the outside. Rated 5 out of 5 by Another great Cuddeback trail camera!!! I own many different styles of Cuddeback trail cameras and this one is perfect for the price. I like it much better than the black flash version for night pics. The only way to beat this camera is to step up to their $160.00 20 megapixel camera. I haven't had any unwanted pictures and it is easier to setup than Cuddebacks newer models. July 16, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Has problems Have 3 of these with security covers..take good pics but with security case they will hold water in rainy situations...also when I lifted the control hatch(on the camera) I found a small colony of ants, with their eggs, nested inside..don't know how they got there because everything was snapped shut. Do have other cameras. Do not recommend this particular Cuddeback. June 28, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Easy to operate Had to purchase a reader for $20 to put the card in and card was $12 which it didn't tell you all the stuff when you purchased it plus batteries for $8 so before I could use it it was additional $40 June 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good pictures easy use This camera is easy to use takes good pictures and has good battery life May 26, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Takes good pics if animal is close enough to set off. Bought because of price and reputation for good pictures. I was disappointed to find that subject had to be close to set camera off.Good pictures and video if subject triggers camera; short battery life. I had one for 24 months, found it not working, called Cuddeback, they will be glad to offer trade in or repair mine for 100 dollar minimum charge. They were not concerned about my disappointment of their product.I guess i will try other brands, i have had Moultrie camera for five years, it is slow trigger speed but at least it lasted longer than Cuddeback and Stealth Cam. Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy set up and good quality pictures I purchased this to view a fox that had built a den under a shed near our house. The Cuddeback Ambush IR Trail camera was easy to set up and we got pictures of the fox the first night and every night since then. I highly recommend this product. March 28, 2015
