Rated 5 out of 5 by Steelhead Man 4th Purchase of Cuddeback Trail Camera
This purchase of the Cuddeback Ambush IR Scouting Camera is for a gift; however we have purchased three of the same earlier this fall. The pictures are very clear. We purchased the first 3 for home security reasons. This latest purchase is for our grandson to preview deer and other wildlife in the woods near his home.

This is the first camera I bought, which was recommended by a friend and fellow hunter. It is easy to use and provided excellent pictures of deer and a bobcat, both day and night. I found that my HP Photo smart A646 printer could read and print the photos.I also ordered it on my smartphone and received it in just a couple of days.Thank you.Mike Hutchinson

Day time pictures are good. Night pics are extremely blurry, So therefore I am dissatisfied with this cam. It is a quality designed piece of equipment. The features are easy and simply to operate. Other than the blurry nights pics I really like the cam but unfortunately i will be returning this cam!

Oct 31st of this year, I purchased a Cuddeback trail camera from Dicks and love it. I researched for quite some time until an employee at Dicks told me about this make and model. It takes quality day and night photo's. No when the deer are coming in, eating and watch the coyote's room through this area. Great investment and a lot of fun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Scott W. Great Scouting Camera
I purchased the camera because it is small and the camera trigger speed. I also purchased the cuddesafe and this paired with the camera makes it easy to mount. The only downside to the camera is that you have to dismount the camera and open the back to see how many images were taken. It would be nice to see that from the front of the camera without having to open it up to view this info.

The only thing I do not like about camera is that it is too easy to steal. Everything else is up to par. I bought a Cuddeback in 2005. Finally this past summer it quit on me. They no longer serviced that camera so the have an awesome buy back program. I purchased an Attack through that program for 125.00! Can't wait to see pictures. It has only been out a week.

Not sure if I would recommend this camera; it didn't exactly work for me. On took pictures if I walked five feet in front of it. Watched many animals in front of the camera, but it didn't take any pictures. Could have been a bad camera; but for that cost, I am not willing to try again.

There are better cameras out there (higher end Cudde, Reconyx) but I would put this one in the top 15% or so. I have used MANY different brands and models. Cudde seems to hold up well and take consistently good pictures. It can be a bit finnicky but overall does a good job. Quick trigger speed and very easy setup. For $149 on sale I could not go wrong and I wish had had purchased several more. There are many lesser cams out there that cost more than this.

This trail camera takes great pictures during the day, but during the night they are a little harder to see the deer. Overall, a great purchase!
