Timberland Men's Chocorua Mid Hiking Boot 4.1 5 13 13
Great Boot I purchased these first in the store but had to return them as they ran a size small. After getting the correct size, they have been a breeze to break in, I will be wearing these on a12 day high adventure hike in the mountains. They seem so far very durable, light and comfortable.. second pair I've purchased these hiking boots are comfortable and very light and can be worn not only for hiking but for everyday wear as well which is the main reason i bought them. January 22, 2013
suitable for hiking right boot just a little wider than left - (have to pull laces tighter to get even feel on feet. also my feet are just a tad narrowere than normal - C width would be nice, but these are fine. can walk the dog 5+ miles each day with no big problems. will hunt with these as long as there's no snow. did not buy these for wet weather use, so water resistance not an issue. Very comfortable, great value I had my hip replaced just over a year ago, I need a boot that helps me to be able to stand comfortably 8-10 hours a day. These boots have exceeded my expectations. Great boot at a great price! October 16, 2012
Lightweight Fair Weather Hiking Boot The insoles in these boots offer no cushioning or arch support. I replaced them with Dr. Scholl's best insoles immediately. Don't bother walking with these boots in wet tall grass. Your feet will get soaked. I do not feel like my ankles are supported very well in the event my ankle may get twisted in rocky terrain but I have no injuries so far. Maybe it's the substantial padding on the sides and back around the ankle that give me this impression. September 20, 2012
I would buy these again I will be wearing these boots when I go on my fall trip to the northeast. I will be going on day hikes for approx. eight weeks. I know I will enjoy wearing these lightweight boots. September 8, 2012
Hurts after wearing Can't wear for to long had to get insoles July 30, 2012
Comfortable from day one. The first time I had these on my feet was to walk up and down Kennessaw mountain. I was a little concerned about "breaking in" new shoes this way, but they felt like old slippers but with good lateral support. July 9, 2012
Light And Comfortable Great for casual wear and light hiking June 26, 2012
Good value Looking for a boot to use on some trailed hikes, nothing too technical. Felt roomy when first put on but I wear support hose and a soft hiking sock in the field which filled them nicely. Comfortable from the start. (I wore them for an 8-hr. workday before going afield.) Covered nine miles of the NY Finger Lakes Trail. No lace slippage altho I did tighten them once enroute before an extended descent. Only a few wet spots so the jury is still out on waterproofness. I'll spray 'em if necessary. No "hot spots" or rubbing. Was prepared to pay more but these will suffice. Can't comment on longevity; they're brand new Loved their lightness. June 23, 2012
