Perfect for the knot tying challenged These things are amazing especially if your not good with knots July 9, 2012
So easy to use We used these on our tent and they made it so much easier to put it up. These were easy to use and we are going to buy more of them to use on other camping gear. July 8, 2012
good rain-fly support They work well holding a small tent or rain fly. easy set up and light for backpacking. I set up a rain fly in the back yard and left it up during a thunder storm that night the wind was about 30mph. The gromit ripped on one corner, but the fig. 9 worked well holding the fly in place. Easy to use, and saved us from the wind I bought these to for our 10-person tent. Our tent included several basic nylon rope lines and stakes to tie down, but I was worried about the predicted wind storm we eventually did encounter that weekend. The tent was a rock in the wind with these. We stayed dry and our large tent didn't move much even when the wind made the trees around us worry. In addition to being strong, they're also brilliant in design. To adjust them, you only need to unwrap on end. It seems too simple to work, but it does! I'm not great at knot tying, but with these, I don't have to be. Another great feature is the reflective ribbons tied into the lines. With a flashlight or even a glowstick, you can see where not to walk in the dark. I initially bought one set of these to help our tent encounter the wind, but I completely replaced the lines on our tent with these Nite Ize. These make tent setup much easier and night walks to the restroom much less dangerous. June 16, 2012
