Eureka! Tent Fanlight 3.6 5 8 8
Great light, Poor fan This hung from the ring in our Coleman tent and it was so convenient. The light was fantastic and we were able to go into the tent and read before going to bed. The fan was just pitiful. You couldn't even feel the airflow lying under it. It also had a high pitched whine which was too annoying to sleep under. Fortunately it was cool enough we didn't need it. Loved the light though and the battery lasted through a week's vacation of a couple hours use each night. September 24, 2012
Nice features but has high pitch wine Really nice unit, good solid quality but seems to have a high pitch wine. Can't seem to eliminate it. Almost too much to sleep with it running. September 10, 2012
Not the best I bought this fan to take on a family camping trip because I am noise addicted (sleep with a fan running at home) the light was extremely useful, however the fan was pitiful. It barely made any noise and when it started raining, you could no longer hear it. Disappointed. Now I have to look into other noise machines for traveking September 10, 2012
Somewhat windy Used the combo last week for 3 quite warm evenings.. The light worked well but the fan could have been more powerful .. However as big as my tent is I perhaps should not complain. the fan did provide some air movement and was fairly quiet. Using only 2 D-cells the life and power it did provide was very good! Not too shabby I used two of these at scout camp and they did pretty good to provide some air flow through the tent on nights that were over 80 degrees. Provided decent air flow for only needing 2 batteries. Light isn't supper bright as it uses a few LEDs but easy to hang in the tent or a tree for a some illumination. July 16, 2012
Works Great Used it when we had the last power outtage during the heat wave. Not that powerful but still a great tool to have. Saved us from insanity. July 16, 2012
Quiet and did the job. The light was perfect for inside the tent, and the fam kept the air circulating. Fan on highest setting wasn't AMAZING, but it was enough on a stuffy humid night to keep up comfortable. Major con, when you use the light as the base it's facing downward, and is unuseable, when hanging however you can use both light and fan. June 6, 2012
Clever, but not perfect. As far as combo fan/lights go, this is maybe just slightly above average. The articulation of the fan off the hanger is limited to about 30 degrees to each side; it pivots further, but it's balance doesn't allow it to go beyond. The fan has high and low speeds; the lamp needs high and low power, too. You lose use of the lamp if you want to stand it up, unless you Jerry-rig something; the lamp is the base. It's not huge, but it's definately not compact. I've only used it once so far, but it served it's purpose. May 2, 2012
