Eureka! Rectangular Floor Saver 3.3 5 7 7
Sturdy and strong tent underlay Used this underneath tent on a wet, uneven, and muddy surface. Sturdier than a tarp. Very useful and glad we invested in this. July 7, 2012
Very Pricy for a One-and-Done This was an impulse buy. It was light weight and rollable and reasonably thick. I figured we'd give them a try and I bought 2 for our 2-person tents and one for our 4-person tent. I suppose these would be OK for camping on soft grass, but they are certainly not suitable for the trail. We shreaded the two for our 2-person tents the first night we used them. They are not puncture resistent and tear easily once a hole gets started. May 28, 2012
Slippery Slope The floor saver is a pretty good product. It was easy to measure and cut to the size of the tent. I know it will help prolong the life of my tent by protecting the floor. It seems to be tough and durable. It is also very light and packable. I easily included it in my tent bag with minimal weight added. The only thing I didn't like about the product is that one side is smooth and the other textured. There was no indication in the packaging as to which side should be down. I chose the textured side down since the grass I was setting up on was wet. That left the smooth side up against the smooth tent floor which was like walking on ice when it got damp from the rain. I will still use the floor saver, but I would suggest to the manufacturer that they texture both sides on future changes. May 14, 2012
not worth the money After purchasing it I realized it is nothing more than a thin piece of plastic, about the same thickness as quality painters plastic. A cheap blue tarp would do a better job at protecting your tent floor and would also last much longer for half the price. Disappointing as I've always thought of quality when it comes to Eureka products but not this one. A floor saver should actually protect your floor from abrasions by rock, sticks and roots but this definitely will not. May 14, 2012
Floor saver works! Back packing in heavy rain showers can be unpleasant when sleeping gets tough. This liner, when used properly, works as billed, and is light enough to recommend to any backpacker. April 23, 2012
It's a tarp Not much to say about it. It's a tarp. It's plastic. It's big. Will cover the ground under and around the tent. April 18, 2012
its a ground cover It is ligh for packing but won't stop a sharp stick check your site befor you set up April 16, 2012
