I would buy this product again
I have a chipping area in the back yard and a 500 sqft green. The mat allows me to move around the yard without tearing up my grass. Has good feel and large enough to get both feet on the mat. I had a smaller mat but the issue was with the stance being off of the mat. Need to make sure you roll out the mat and make it smooth so you get a good feel when hitting, if not and it's wavy you dont the get a true feel.

This hitting mat IS NOT commercial grade
I returned this product to the store after one session of ball striking. The mat was torn and cut from the underside. I am a decent ball striker and really expected to have this for a few seasons of backyard practice but was completely dissapointed with the product. Steer clear of this hitting mat.

Not for Heavy Ball Hitters
If you pick the ball, this may work for you. However, if you take a proper divot when you strike the ball this will not last long. Purchased at a local Dick's two months ago, have hit 300 - 400 irons off it and it is falling apart. The artifical turf is pulling out, including the backing. Commercial Grade is an inadequate discriptor. Hank Haney Commercial Grade from [@] is twice as thick and far more durable....had one for 8 years before needing to replace.....heading back in that direction. Twice the cost, but in the end worth it if this one needs replacing so frequently.

a good buy
The rubber hitting tees that came with the mat broke after only about 10 hits. Better plan on getting some extra tees. I got some good ones online.
