Great product
I bought this ball retriever after playing with someone who had one and used it to scoop my ball out of the water. I saw the ease of use, so I got this one instead of other name brand ball retrievers that cost twice as much. I admit, I do get a kick out of retrieving other balls in the water or out of reach, and I now have so many balls that the retriever has already paid for itself. I would highly recommend.

Tons of Spare Balls
I don't often lose balls when golfing but I prefer not to buy a whole lot either. Since I play on a lot of fancy courses I can usually find a lot of really nice golf balls that others have lost. These balls are always just out of clubs reach so this Ball Retriever does the trick for me. I think I purchased like 12 balls when I got my full set recently and now have like 84 balls thanks to this thing. The best part about this retriever is that it grabs the balls very easily and doesn't let go till you want. The shaft extension system doesn't get all stuck like others I've used either. As far as all the other 12foot or longer ball retrievers I've had this thing retains it's rigidity the best when fully extended too which makes getting far off balls a breeze. There is nothing I don't like about this retriever. It's the best I've used out of about the 13 different ones I've had in my lifetime.

No need to buy golf balls
I live near a muni course that has a creek meandering through it. I figured I could use the retreiver to fetch balls out of the creek but I find it is useful for pulling balls out of the weeds,too. I've been ball hunting about 4 times and found about 50 balls,ProVs,nike,callaway and of course the usual amount of top flights. A good percentage are in perfect condition and the rest will go in the shag bag.
