Now this is a cot!! Rugged, comfortable with plenty of room to move around. You will not be comfortable on a smaller cot if you are 200 lbs or more. Used this for a week on a recent moose hunt. Glad I made the purchase. Well worth the money. The only thing someone may not like is it is heavy. November 2, 2014
too difficult to put together after taking two of us over 30 minutes of stressing and straining we got it to be usable but totally connected very comfortable and with the cases easy to transport. it also is expensive October 15, 2014
Great cot! I bought this cot for my two preschoolers and they loved it! Both were able to fit comfortably. Very easy to assemble although it's a bit heavy. Would definitely recommend it. September 7, 2014
Best Camp Beds that we have ever tried We have tried many variations of camping cots over the last several years with very disappointing results. We have just camped for two weeks with these cots and I would recommend them without hesitation. We did however, use two camp mattresses on them for extra comfort. August 10, 2014
Great Cot for "Car Camping" My son just started boy scouts and I expect to be doing a lot of camping with him over the next few years. My first experience with this cot was week long scout camp that finished up a few days ago. At 6', 235 lbs I probably could have gotten away with a smaller lighter cot, but I am very happy with how this product performed. There was plenty of room for my XL sleeping bag and the cot provided good support. It's very sturdy and I had no problems with sagging or stretching during the week I used it. Assembly is relatively easy, but due to the size of the cot you need a fair amount of room to open it up. I'd strongly recommend setting it up once prior to camping with it just to get a feel for how it goes together and how much clearance you will need in the tent. As noted in most of the reviews, this cot is heavy. Not a problem for me as I plan on using it for "car camping". The included carry bag seems sturdy and the folded cot and support poles fit well. very sturdy we purchased the cot to replace a broken one. we liked the fact that it was wide enough and sturdy enough to allow our daughter to sleep on it with myself or my husband. July 31, 2014
This cot is a monster, it is huge and great Bought this cot for a week long camping trip because I no longer wanted to use an air mattress and it did not disappoint. It is massive though and barely fit in the tent. It is perfect for me (a bit larger than the average person). Supported me perfectly and I was able to sleep just fine all week. July 22, 2014
over sized camp cot I purchased this more for the extra length (I am 6' 1", 235 lbs). Felt great not to have my toes hang off or have pillows fall on ground with the extra space. Weight rating is 500 lbs, but I don't think it would work very well. Cot fabric is not as tight as the smaller cots when assembled. I slept better on this cot vrs any other cot i have used. For myself, I would give 5 stars. July 16, 2014
Too Much Stretch I purchased this cot for some camping trips we had coming up. I wanted something strong that I didn't have to worry about breaking as I have two young kids and am a big guy (6'4" - 275lbs). I was excited to see a product that seemed like it would hold me without any issue, and would be able to handle my kids climbing over it. The first night, the cot was tremendous. Very comfortable. The second night, however, revealed that one night on the cot had stretched quite a bit. It stretched to the point where I was resting on the metal bars of the legs in the middle. It was clear that if a couple nights did this in, it wouldn't last a season for me. The frame itself was very sturdy, the assembly was effortless, and the in-the-bag size is quite compact all things considered. On the whole, I'm quite disappointed that the canvas stretched as much as it did. Hopefully my experience was an anomaly. If the angles of the legs was steeper (or more of a U shaped like some other extra large cots), this unit would be a winner. Fortunately, Dick's was great about the return, and I ended up buying a different cot from them online. July 8, 2014
Couldn't put it together Even with two people we couldn't stretch the cot to complete the assembly. Since I camp alone, it wasn't going to work for me. It also is ridiculously heavy. I returned it for a refund. July 6, 2014
