Healing From Deep Shin Splints 5.2, foot size 7-7.5. I am still recovering from shin splints that happened 7 months ago. In the past month or two I have been feeling varicose vein symptoms(however, I do not have). Very painful, even have a problem walking through my house. Like most people I have runner goals and I am determined to meet them. I bought this item out of looking for a solution and with no expendable money. I was slightly scared that this might not work. I have had them for a week, worn them almost everyday, and for once out of months I can smile. I would say out of a week of using them 55%-89% of the pain is gone depending on the day. (Remember everyone is different and this is not a quick cure. I still have a long road ahead of me.) If I didn't have them, I would not have been able to walk my kids to the bus stop, run my dog, train for a 5k, or climb Stone Mountain this week. When I can I will buy another pair and will more than likely continue to wear them the rest of my running life. I wear them in the early day if I am going the distance, wear them during the run/walk and a minimum of 2 hours after. Size L is too big, but that is all the store had. April 22, 2013
Returned Returned to buy from a local store. I wear 6.5 size shoes, ordered XS according to size chart, and the socks aren't tall enough (stopping about an inch and half short of my knee) though fit correctly on my foot. I'm 5'4, so I'm not exceptionally tall either. April 7, 2013
Great for use on long flights I received these socks for free as a part of a promotion when I purchased 2XU running tights. I didn't feel that I needed them for running but I thought they may be useful to wear during long flights. I fly to Europe a few times each year and find since I've been running more, that I struggle with restless leg syndrome during the second half of the flight. pink & grey stockings terrific These stockings for my baseball-playing daughter were just the ticket, fit her well and gave the needed energy support/leg circulation boost she required. They are hard to find that don't look like "socks for old people" so that made her very happy. And the lady on the phone was most helpful; Dick's Sporting Goods is the best!! NOTE: They were quite difficult to get on; each person has to figure that out for herself as one can get a bad cramp getting them over ones heel. However, once they are on they are really comfortable, much more than you'd expect. Thank you. October 10, 2012
A leg saver!!!! After recovering from partial achilles tendon and calf muscle tear I finally found the kind of support socks which provide me enough support during my workouts-especially when I am on a treadmill.Truly a great product I honestly recommend it for everyone but you need to be specific what you need it for (recovery from injury,training etc.) September 10, 2012
Finally !! So happy Dicks is finally carrying 2XU Compression !! Ever since my trip to Australia last year for the Gold Coast Marathon I have been hassling my local Dick's store staff asking when they were finally going to start stocking these guys Compression products.Do yourself a favour and buy a pair. The two pairs I bought back in Australia have singlehandly helped me recover through the last 6 months of marathon training as I inch my way to the New York marathon. I practically live in them during and after my runs.Yes, [$] is a lot for a sock, but I've probably saved 10 times that in injury costs.
