Rated 4 out of 5 by first wetsuit Expectations were met
I'm participating in my first Tri in a couple months and needed to find a wetsuit. I've never bought or used one before so I wasn't sure where to start. I did some online searching and found that the majority of decent rated suits were about $80. When I found this one and saw that it had decent ratings, it was a "no brainer." Because I'm in Maine and most of our waters still have ice on them, I haven't used it yet but I've tried it on. I got the 14 (5'8'' - 170 lbs, though I've put on weight and plan to get back down to 155/160lbs, I should still be safe in the 14 because of my height). It did feel a little short but I've been told that wetsuits are definitely something that you have to break in, so I'm not worried. I'm looking forward to testing it out.

Like others, I agree, they run small. I ordered two sizes 12 and 14. I usually fit a size 8 or 10 up top and 6 or 8 on the bottom. The 14 fit well on the top and a bit loose on the bottom, but I can't breath in the 12. SO GO BIG - no vanity in sizes of wet suits - it is all about function. I will never understand why they zip in the back - except perhaps for the comfort of surfers. Will not test for warmth in water until July in the Galapagos.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sasha Queen Buy Larger than you think
I am around a size 6-8 regularly, however I ordered a 10 in this suit and it was "snug" as in just fit!

Rated 5 out of 5 by FastMario Great for the price
My wife and I both bought these wetsuits for use during snorkeling, and they are a great bargain. We tried them on at home and thought they were rather tight (we bought the size that corresponded to our height/weight), but it turns out that tight is good when you're in the water. You don't want cold water sloshing in and out. The suits seem well made, and they do keep you warmer and provide some buoyancy. They also keep you from having to use as much sunscreen or burning to a crisp in the tropical sun...always a plus. We both also bought the larger sizes, but decided to keep the tight ones. Returns to the store were fast and easy.

Buy larger than you wear in ax dress size. I had to return this after ordering a size 8 and found out later that a size 8 fits 115-120 lbs. I ordered a different style in 12 and it fits fine. The item is very classy and the swirl is stylish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by cynthiaj777 Definitely cut small
Just like all the others have said, these shortys are cut really small. I am 5'3", 135 lbs and mostly muscular (wear a 2 pant and extra small shirt). I ordered an 8, 10 and 12 to try them all on (and return the ones that don't fit). There was no way the 8 was even going to go on. My boyfriend said it was so small it would fit his 6 year old son. And I agree! The 10 was super tight, and I didn't even try to get it all the way on. The 12 fit way better. I am by no means a size 12. Otherwise, the shorty is great. Just the sizing if off,

Great price, comfortable but runs small. I'm usually size small, 5'3, 110 lbs and got the 10 which is perfect.

In the spirit of full disclosure this is my very first wetsuit and I love it.
I was able to stay and play in the ocean so much longer. Its awesome!
The fit; I took the advise of others and ordered 2 sizes larger than I normally would, and it fits well. So yes, they do run small.
Good quality, good price, and good times.
