Hank Haney's candid, surprisingly insightful account of his six-year journey with Tiger Woods, during which the supremely gifted golfer collected six major championships and rewrote golf history. From 2004 to the spring of 2010, Hank Haney was Tiger's coach and Tiger was Hank's only client. Hank was one of the very few people allowed behind the curtain and observed Tiger in nearly every circumstance.
- A book looking into the world of Tiger Woods and his fascination with Military training through Hank Haney's eyes
- Looking back from 2004-2010 where Tiger won 6 majors
- Tiger-only 28 at the time-was by then already an icon, judged by the sporting press as not only one of the best golfers ever, but possibly the best athlete ever. Already he was among the world's highest paid celebrities. There was an air of mystery surrounding him, an aura of invincibility. Unique among athletes, Tiger seemed to be able to shrug off any level of pressure and find a way to win

Rated 4 out of 5 by PatG Tiger Book is okay but a bit dull Bought the bok because there's been so much buzz about it. I have not finsihed it but it's only for serious tiger fans. Not a lot of humor - read Daly's book - better read for the beach. July 9, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Maine Golfer Very Insightful I am neither a Tiger lover or hater, nor am I for or against Hank Haney. I wasn't going to purchase this book but couldn't help myself. I found that for the most part the book was very insightful on what it takes to become a player of the level of a Tiger Woods. Without being self centered he could never of achieved greatness. If you really enjoy golf, I think its worth reading. May 14, 2012
