Timex Marathon GPS Watch
This is a simple straightforward GPS watch that does everything advertised. It syncs up fast (Ive never waited more than 30 seconds, most times 10-15 seconds.) It is easy to use. And the battery seems to last quite a long time. Remember that it doesn't connect to the internet, but otherwise this does a great job. I wish the numbers for the chronograph were a little bigger, like the distance and pace numbers. They were a bit difficult to see when running, but otherwise I really like this watch.

Disappointed so far
I bought this watch for running, mainly to track distance covered. It has been very diffciult to use thus far. You haev to go online and download a compelete manual to set it up properly. However, the most frustrating features is the GPS. It is very difficult to pick up a signal and most times I begin my run without it becuase it simply takes too long to figure out if it will get the signal or not. I will most likely return this product.

Just Doesn't Make the Grade
Acquired satellites quickly, good battery life and distance measurement, but difficult to use while moving and pace measurement didn't work.

I'm satidfied with the end results
I use this item for running. Its an excellent way to track my shoe mileage and pace results. I like all the information it provides and I've had to trouble getting a GPS signal which was one of my concerns. I do wish it where a little less bulky around my wrist or that it had the capability to be worn in other methods such as on top of my running shoes.

Hard to use
Hard to figure out how to use it/configure it to show me what I want to see while running. Not "user friendly".

GPS watch works really well - no problem with locking onto GPS signal even with overhanging trees while running on trail. Watch is easy to read while running. I'm training for my first marathon and it is great for basic distance run, time and pace information. You have to download the full manual from the Timex website and the manual could be a little more detailed and have more pictures of the display as you work through different modes. That said it is pretty easy to use and works as discribed.

Its an alright watch
Kind of an annoying watch: Can't reset a workout without saving it; no distance, pace, or speed if the GPS is not on; and it's a little bulky... Despite this, the battery power is good and it does make for an okay watch.

Great watch and simple to use
This watch is my first GPS and great for someone just getting into tracking runs, and not wanting to spend 200-300 dollars. The GPS is very dependable and the battery lasts for weeks depending on the use of the GPS. Its not to bulky looking so I also wear it daily. My favorite feature is how you can track multiple splits during your run and review each one after the workout.

I run three times a week and the GPS functions are accurate and easy to use. This is a simple, effective watch with the functions truly needed.

Simple and great battery life
Pretty easy to use, although had to get the full manual online to figure out the timezone abbreviations. Battery life is great with GPS off. Pretty quick on GPS sync (2min is the longest, generally less than 1 min).
