Rated 5 out of 5 by Fred Timex Marathon GPS Watch
Excellent product for the price. It was fairly easy to set up after I looked at an on-line video demonstrating the set up procedures and I also referred to the directions. (The on-line video was actually more useful to me). I have been using it for about a week and so far it has been easy to use, saving and resetting it has also been easy and recharging is simple. I like the main features of distance and time.

Very slow to pick up GPS satellites, if at all. When I did get signal, GPS was lost during run. Live in populated area with no obstructions so GPS should've been readily available. If you need readers to read you will have difficulty seeing the display. Returned the watch for refund.

Rated 4 out of 5 by bill Everything I need
My wife and I both had Garmins, but I think mine was a lemon... battery problems.. beat up used replacement... I bought the Timex for $99 and still think it was a great deal. 3 things I look for....1. distance and splits in mile increments 2.pace and 3.overall pace/distance. I see other people have trouble deleting workouts, but I'm technically challenged and have NO trouble. When you stop, save the workout. then it has view or delete come up and you click on the right (yes) button and you have deleted that workout. Only negative is that you can't trust the pace while running, but the mile splits are accurate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Airboss A very good watch for the price!
I am not sure I understand all the bashing of this watch. I am not an everyday runner, but I have seven half-marathons under my belt now and this watch has worked out great for me. I don't ever have a hard time getting a signal, unless you call waiting 30-60 seconds a really long time. I do agree with the problem of not being able to delete my run data without saving it, but that is one of the only complaints I have. I just wish I could have bought it for this price! I paid twice what they are offering!

I returned this for a Garmin
It would not pick up a GPS reading and could not get it set for my runs
Had help from my son in law and he could not set it either
Not worth the savings when you can not use

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rudy 13.1 Great value
This is a simple straightforward GPS watch that does everything advertised. It syncs up fast (Ive never waited more than 30 seconds, most times 10-15 seconds.) It is easy to use. And the battery seems to last quite a long time. Remember that it doesn't connect to the internet, but otherwise this does a great job. I wish the numbers for the chronograph were a little bigger, like the distance and pace numbers. They were a bit difficult to see when running, but otherwise I really like this watch.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed Disappointed so far
I bought this watch for running, mainly to track distance covered. It has been very diffciult to use thus far. You haev to go online and download a compelete manual to set it up properly. However, the most frustrating features is the GPS. It is very difficult to pick up a signal and most times I begin my run without it becuase it simply takes too long to figure out if it will get the signal or not. I will most likely return this product.

Acquired satellites quickly, good battery life and distance measurement, but difficult to use while moving and pace measurement didn't work.
