Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 120 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy on, easy off I was frustrated with my laces always coming untied or bouncing around and hitting my ankles. I had seen a friend with Salomon quick laces, and wanted to see if there was something else out there similar I could put on my own shoes. Lo and behold, these lock laces. I actually own 3 pairs of these. I put a pair on my roller skates. The only issue at all is- don't pull them too tight! They stretch! You will absolutely cut off your circulation if you pull them tight. Just moderately tight is good enough to hold your shoes on your feet. They are super easy to get off, and after a while, you will barely have to adjust them when you put your shoes on/take them off. It just take a little bit of adjustment at the beginning to get them feeling perfect. No fussing with shoe laces! And they come in a lot of great colors so you can really coordinate with your shoes! Rated 5 out of 5 by My Grandson (10 yrs. old) LOVES Nathan LockLace for his football cleats! Not only does my grandson love the Nathan LockLace's, I do, as well! I particularly like them for safety issues. No more having to stop and tie your shoes/cleats laces. No more tripping on laces, which have come undone. No more "double knotting" the bow, and the best feature is the laces stay in place, and do not come loose, which keeps/secures your shoes on your feet, at all times. SAFETY, is of the utmost importance to me when it comes to my grandchildren!!! However, I do wish they had a larger color selection. EX: Multiple Colored Laces (defined 1/2" colors on the laces, ie. black/red; black/yellow; black/royal blue; grey/burgundy; grey/navy; grey/royal blue; white/red; white/navy; white/black; lime green/yellow; lime green/pink (for girls), and even trio-colored laces; etc.), and Solid Colors (burgundy, royal blue, bright yellow, etc.). I guess what I'm trying to say is.... "Colored Nathan LockLace's," which will not just make a statement, but will be recognizable at sight!!! There are a broad spectrum of colors out there, and should be utilized, not just for children, but for adults, as well. I actually would create a "Signature Nathan LockLace color(s), which would be sold/purchased as the "2014 Special Addition," and so forth. If the decision were left up to me, I would have a new Nathan LockLace Signature/Special Addition color(s) for each calendar year." Where anyone seeing the laces on a regular tennis shoe or on athletic shoe apparel, will recognize immediately, those are Nathan LockLace's! Such as recognizable brands, and a household name (Ex: The Nike Swoop; The Under Armour logo; The Adidas logo; RL Polo logo; The Ping logo.) I could list several more recognizable/household popular brand names, that have been around for quite some time, but I believe you understand the concept. Word of mouth, can make or break you, and you have an excellent product. I do not as a habit, review or take surveys, but this particular product "Nathan LockLace" deserves recognition. From this point on, I do not believe I would purchase any other shoe laces other than The Nathan LockLace's! Actually, I have gone back to purchase different colored Nathan LockLace's, at my grandson's request, not just for his football cleats, but for his regular tennis shoes, which he wears almost everyday! Unfortunately, I could not find the color(s) my grandson was wanting, and I went to different stores to locate the requested colors, but I could not find them. The laces are a bit more expensive than regular shoe laces, but you absolutely can not put a price on SAFETY, and not to mention... they look incredible! As stated above, I really do wish they would come in a wider selection of colors. One more concept... I would also get creative on how Nathan LockLace's can be worn, and show a few pics/diagrams on your packaging, then reference your website to see other ways to wear your laces, and maybe other uses for Nathan LockLace's (just a thought)!!! In closing, Nathan LockLace's are not a "Need" or "Want" product....... they are a "Have to Have" product, and should be marketed that way!!!! Sincerely, Teresa September 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by LockLaces are Awesome I bought these laces for my biking shoes and they work great. Their website has a video showing how to use them and it made it very easy to put them on my shoes. I plan to add these to my other workout shoes. September 16, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Dumb product for everyday use... If you're doing tri's or running ultras and need to quickly change shoes, ok. But if you're lacing up to run like most people do I found these to be a waste if $$. September 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pricey and Functional A little pricey at almost $8 a pop. But they are a nifty alternative to laces. They do keep laces tight, are adjustable, and look pretty good. I'm pleased with them so far. September 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfort and Convenience This is the fifth pair of the Nathan LockLace system that I have purchased. They are easy to install, and very easy to use. I like my shoes to feel snug, and he lace keeps my foot in place while the elastic has just enough give to keep my foot from being squeezed. These are great for runners or triathletes that don't want to waste time adjusting laces. They are also great for my 6 year old daughter who hasn't quite mastered tying shoes. Be warned, they do wear out over time, especially if you tax the elastic by sliding your shoe on and off without loosening the lock. September 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Daughter's Shoes I bought this product for my daughter's nike shoes and it works for her! She is 5 yrs old and this allows her to fasten her shoes quicker. I didn't give five stars because she wears the shoes only twice a week and cannot rate on the wear and tear of this product. September 4, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor quality & high price For spending $8+ on these I was disappointed that on the second day my ten year old daughter wore them one of the plastic pieces that keeps the ends together had fallen off. She looked for it all over the playground at school. I am not impressed with the quality. September 2, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not sturdy enough for football It broke the first day my son wore them. They also did not stay tight enough August 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Product of this Type As a runner that enters races, this is the best product of this type. These never come loose and I never have to worry about my shoes coming untied. I have tried a different product like this, but it was too complicated and didn't stay secure. I will continue to purchase this product for all my running shoes. August 6, 2014
