Rated 5 out of 5 by CT Buckhunter Best Crossbow Value
As this was my first crossbow, I researched extensively before buying. This was by far the best crossbow out there for the money. It took about 15 minutes to assemble and was extremely accurate right out of the box. Found that I needed to pull each arrow after the shot as I was worried about damaging the arrows as the groups became so tight. The cocking system is a real plus. You do not need to worry about carrying a separate rope cocker which is great for both practice and being in the field. Only complaint is the sound as others have noted. Found that it was not an issue when I took a nice deer at 22 yards from a tree stand the second time out in the woods with it. Seems to be fast enough where the sound did not spook the deer at all. Still plan to buy the BowJax silencer as insurance. You will not be disappointed with this crossbow.

by MoTown The Wicked Ridger Invader is great
The Invader is my first crossbow and I feel in love with it in less than a month. I have other bows that I love but I have pushed all of them to the side during this last season only to use my Wicked Ridge Invader. My Crossbow was a holiday gift to myself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Duke great bow for the money
I would agree with everyone. Great bow, shoots very accurate and consistent. Faster than an older tenpoint I used to have. I have a discarge bag for cross bow and sometimes the bolt/arrow will go through the bag. My only complaint is that the bow is loud however you'll get the kill quick enough, not like a compound bow so not an issue. Also the limbs are wide. I purchased a 2nd bow, ten point stealth SS. a little faster, quieter and more nimble but its more than double the money. If you're hard core and can afford then buy a ten point but if you want to save and get most bang for buck then this is definitely the way to go compared to other products out there

Rated 5 out of 5 by ponyxprss1974 excellent product
This is my first crossbow, and I'm extremely pleased with it's performance. The support from Dick's was excellent. They assembled the bow in store and allowed me to try it before purchasing, as well as answering many questions and making sure I was fully equipped for this bow before leaving the store. Pretty accurate in store, but a bit off in the field at first. A couple hours sighting it in and I've been grouping in 2" at 60 yards, also no problems with bulls eyes at 70 yards. Only problem I've had after a few weeks of use ... I'm breaking my bolts by robin hooding (now have multiple targets to shoot at before retrieving them.) Recommend not following the directions for waxing the string every 75 to 100 shots. We've been consistently waxing every 20 shots, and it's keeping the string from fraying this year (as I've seen has happened on other customer reviews.) Well rounded bow, and easy enough for myself and other women to draw. Excellent bow for target shooting, and in the field for taking deer (and other large game animals).

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sword's edge Accurate, easy to cock, but watch the serving!
For the money this is a good crossbow, accurate out of the box, with some small adjustments. Quite noisy, dampeners helped that out.
My main complaint is that the protective serving that covers the string where it wraps around the cams is breaking. I haven't shot more than 40 shots through this cross bow sighting it in, so I think that is a bit premature as far as durability is concerned. I noticed the broken serving when the bow was cocked and I was up in a tree stand. I thought at the time that it was a poor time for that problem to show up.
Since strings and cables are not covered under their warranty I hope I can just reserve the string, but that can only be done while it is cocked to expose the broken serving. Not the safest way to do it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NOVA Hunter Great Crossbow
i bought this for my wife's birthday, bow season opens soon and she enjoys hunting with me. I did a tremendous amount of research on the internet to get the best value without sacrifiing quality. I bought it at Dicks because the local store manager agreed to a price match and the fact that Dicks is reputable company that I can go back to if there's a problem. I was able to sight in with just few arrows. the manufacturers website recommends to zero at 30 yards and it will automatically be "on" at 20 and 40 yards. I followed their guidance and found it to be true. The bow is very accurate. The wife has a lot of confidence after shooting it about 30 times. The 3x scope is clear. She was drilling the block and 3 D targets. I only have2 faults I could find - the trigger has a glitch in it but it breaks at about 3 1/2 lbs. the automatic safety has to be in the fire position before cocking it or it won't fully cock. The safety will reset by itself sometimes after shooting other times it doesn't. just have to train yourself to check it before cocking. So far I am very pleased with performance for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CJeff Great quality for the price
This is my first crossbowand I Love it; as soon finished the easy assembly I was able to shoot it from 20, 30, and 40 yds.. I shot six bolts at the different yardage and they landed in a 4 in. grouping. Overall its pretty quiet, but I did put a split limb silencer on it which helped. Great crossbow, with a big name standing behind it.

This is my first crossbow. I don't believe I could have purchased a better one for the money. Easy to assemble. I took my time, and after reading the instructions first, I put it together in about 35-40 minutes. Out of the box the sight for 20 yds was off 3" to the left and about 2" high. After initial adjustment at 20 yds, I had to tweak the 30 yd setting about two clicks and that's all it needed. I shot half dollar sized groupings at 20, 30,
