Just what I was looking for! I got these shoes on December 7th, and I wanted to wait until I had them for a full month before I was comfortable in writing a review. I was looking for a light yet supportive pair of footwear to wear during my circuit training routines. I'm on my 2nd round of Insanity training and just finished my first month of Les Mills' Combat. I was previously wearing UnderArmour running shoes, but I found them to be a bit heavy and stiff for all the plyometric work. The Micro G Defend shoes by UA are great!!! They're light enough to use for all of the mixed martial arts kicks in the Combat program, yet the compression style footsleeve in them provides enough support for the ploymetric drills, suicides and squat drills that most high interval circuit training programs employ. They've been holding up quite well to daily workouts since the beginning of December, and they are the most comfortable pair of workout shoes I've ever owned. They fit like slippers, and I don't think I'll be buying another product but these for my workouts again! January 8, 2013
too narrow These shoes were too narrow for me. I usually wear a size 9 4E in Saucony progrid 5 running shoes. I ordered the same size in the Micro G, but they were too narrow. I was planning to use the Micro G as a cross-training shoe. I was hoping that they would provide more support than the Saucony. but the Micro G is closer to a running shoe than a cross-training shoe. The Micro G material isn't leather; it's a light, thin synthetic material, and doesn't provide much insulation for cold weather. After I tried them on, and walked around the house for a while, they were too tight and so I had to return them. December 13, 2012
Outstanding fit I have exceptionly wide feet. I have worn many so called wide cross trianers, non have fit and giving me the support and comfort of the micro g defend 4e shoe. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who has wide feet. November 14, 2012
Great shoe! I am picky with my shoes, I like the width that these shoes provide I feel like they are long for there size, they are nice and flexible light, good running shoes, I just wonder how long they will last 3 weeks and they still look good November 13, 2012
