Incredible Cushioning
Although this is a running shoe and I'm not a runner but rather a daily outside walker with arthritis in both knees and hips, I chose this shoe because of the incredible overall comfort while "testing" it in-store. The day after my first 45 minute walk I experienced only minor discomfort in my knees and no hip pain. I even sleep better because I'm not waking up with pain throughout the night. This is an incredible product!

Good purchase
Needed a shoe with impact control since injuring my Achilles and stress fracturing my 5 metatarsal. Good arch support. Only negative is its kind of tight in the toe area. Otherwise good shoe.

VERY disappointed. These shoes are NOT what they used to be...
I am an avid runner. I run multiple marathons, as well as countless shorter races, each year. I have been wearing ASICS Gel-Cumulus shoes for several years (purchasing at least 2 pairs per year) and I have loved them all. I recommend them to everyone I know! HOWEVER, something went wrong with the Cumulus 14s. They are uncomfortable, too firm, very little cushion, tighter than the others, and a huge disappointment. I bought a pair about a month ago. I am running the Boston Marathon on MONDAY and these were supposed to be my shoes to wear! I have been slowly breaking them in over the past month, but I was noticing that during, and especially after, my long runs my foot was starting to feel bruised on top. It was as if my laces were too tight, but they were not. The shoe was just too narrow, height-wise, and it was causing discomfort. I thought, at first, the discomfort may be from other factors, so I wore them again on several other runs to try and make them work. I was NOT successful! I finally abandoned any hope of wearing these during Boston. I will now be wearing my "old" shoes, ASICS Gel-Cumulus 13's. If I can find some 13s in my size online, I will be stocking up. Maybe the 15s will be better, but now I have a bad taste for ASICS.

very comfy
switched from the gel kayano 19 (stability) to these neutral shoes and so far so good. they don't need much breaking it. did 8 miles my first day in them and my feet were happy!

Great Marathon Shoes
I purchased these shoes a week before the Mini Heart Marathon and I was able to break them in within a week. They are very comfortable and perfect for anyone with a high arch.

Disappointing
These shoes are very disappointing. The cushioning is not what I've gotten in past models and the fit is weird. The toe box is tight but the heel is loose and sloppy. Overall, these feel like lower end shoes not something I spent more than $100 on.
