Pillow-soft and supportive
Never would have considered these at the $110 price but I had $75 in gift cards so I decided to see if shoes double the cost of what I usually buy were worth it. Only 20 miles on them, or so, but very happy with the feel. Toe box is loose, enough support through the heel and instep without feeling restrictive, and a very cushioned ride. You can feel the gel in the sole transfer the energy through the entire foot rather than just at contact points. I'm a clydesdale (200+) and my knees, arches, and calves already appreciate the shoes. I'm getting so much return from them my average mile times have dropped 20 seconds in less than a month. Will buy another pair but only if I find a serious coupon or get another gift card. Great for heavier runners needing moderate support and stability with fairly neutral gait and minimal supination.

Great shoe
Dealing with ITBS (iliotibial band syndrome) in the knee, researched and discovered a possible link between my running style; heel strike, over striding, supination, etc.. I spoke with an employee at Park Meadows and this was one of the recommendations. After walking around and hearing of the Brooks technologies I went with the Cloud 5's. Very comfortable shoe, has a 10mm stack height and is recommended for those that supinate and need assistance pronating. Only ran 10 miles so far and will keep updating as time goes on.
Comfortable shoes, fit true to size.

Brooks Men's Ghost 5 Running Shoe
Now on my third pair. I am over 70 but still by the Grace of God lead a very active life. However, few shoes comfortably protect beaten up feet for any activity but the Ghost 5 is good for athletics and fantastic for casual wear. I like the color combination as well because it has beauty without teenage bling.

Great shoe
I wear these daily at work, and they look great and feel great. If I were a jogger I would wear these and when I would run past you, you would say, "Nice shoes."

Good running shoes
I like the cushioning I get with these shoes. I am not the skinny runner that you see everyday and my joints don't take the punishment that other light weight shoes deliver. Good shoe for the money!

Great value shoe
Best casual shoe I have ever had. This is my 3rd pair from Dick's.

Brooks Men's Ghost 5 Running Shoe
cannot add anything of value, as this appears to be the wrong type of shoe for my running style.

Comfort for a big guy
They are very comfortable for a growing high schooler who is over 6 feet tall with slightly pronating feet. I think they will prove to be fairly durable, too. It was worth the time we waited for the special order to come it. It didn't take very long at all.

Better than expected
My feet have quite high arches. I was having some problems with my knees, especially the patella tendon getting sore. My last few pairs of shoes were Nike Air Pegasus. On the advice of a friend, tried another shoe to see if the knee problem would be less. So I tried the Books Ghost (5) and from the very first run I could tell the difference. Wow they are comfortable to run in. Seem to be made custom for my foot. Better arch support and just a softer feeling landing for my entire foot. I'm impressed with the Brooks Ghost 5, and will be buying them again..
