Great product for someone with foot issues. This shoe has really help me get through the day as a teacher. I'm on my feet walking on a hard floor all day and developed plantar faciitis and this has been the first shoe that has given me relief. It has a gel heel and I also put an insert in...also from Dick's store and it has made all the difference for me!! Salesperson at Dick's suggested this particular shoe for people with plantars faciitis and he was right! May 15, 2013
I LOVE the Brooks line of sport shoes; especially the GHOST series !! I LOVE the Brooks line of sports shoes; especially the GHOST series!! This is my third pair this year. My first two pair I got at INDY. location; and they fit so true to size that when I saw the Blue color available onl-line, I just had to have them. They fit the best and are so comfortable for doing treadmill walking and for other activities. Plus my foot doctor highly recommends them. I had two total knee replacements, and working on fitness and need protection on knees. These great shoes are not only super comfortable; but they are GREAT looking too. I get so many compliments on them. The physical therapist also commented on what a fantastic shoes they are, so I feel that is important to note. Buy a pair you will see how great they are. Great shoe I have shin splints and this is my 2nd pair of Brooks ghosts. The only brand I have not had to spend additional money on to purchase insoles for my shin splints. Ran my first pair hard. My new pair have it better now that I'm nearly 20 lbs lighter. February 13, 2013
Most comfortable tennis shoe ever! I am one of those people who make things last........I don't beat up products or mis-use them, I polish them or wash them, and take care of them. So, when my 20-year-old tennis shoes finally developed tears in the upper fabric (no, I am not a runner---just a walker), I went to Dick's and tried on many pairs of tennis shoes, finally deciding to pay the extra for the Brooks brand. Since I have had them at home, and worn them numerous times, I can honestly say that these are the most comfortable tennis shoes I have had on my feet in the past 20 years!! They offer support and cushion at the same time, and they wrap around my foot like a blanket. I often forget that I am wearing them. They are attractive, they grip the surface well.
