The reels feature High Efficiency Gearing (HEG) that increases torque and produces smooth and silent retrieves. They also have a Super Free Bearing Supported Pinion Gear System (SF) that prevents friction on the spool shaft for farther casting with less effort. These reels are constructed with an aluminum frame that resists corrosion.

Great overall! This is a great reel! Very smooth, long casts and easy to use. I'm big on egg beaters and have always hated baitcasting reels. I was told that's because the ones I had, suck. So I changed my approach and couldn't be happier. I paired it with a fast 7'MH Abu Garcia Verdict. I wish I had the money to buy a bunch more. I find myself trying to use this set up for all my fishing. My go-to spinning set up now rides the bench. poor guy. July 8, 2012
