Customer Reviews:

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by full of design flaws After receiving rack I can say it grossly overpriced for the design it has, it should be priced around $100 (well, add extra $10 for price difference between aluminum vs steel in raw material). Positives: it's aluminum which makes it lightweight and easy to handle and a tilting future works as advertised and.... nothing else. Now bad stuff, plastic end-plugs fell out while unpacking box... Carrier arms which hold bikes wobble because tolerance between holes and pins is so sloppy that you can lift arm by yellow loop about half inch up before it catches up between hole and pin (it will get worst as powder coating chips off), even rack has rattle prevention in the hitch attachment sloppiness in the arms makes it pointless as bikes will rattle on every bump. Bike cradles, cradle by itself look ok but to space them apart Softride designed cheese plastic c-shaped spacers which can fall off at any time and it will cause bikes to slide all over the place... To distribute load of carrier arms to main support tube designers chose to use some sort of latch which should engage then rack returns to travel position but spring to push latch down is so weak you have to manually push it to engage, end of the spring easily slides off the latch and can disengage at any time... what else left... oh, security cable is a completely useless, you pull cable and connect it to yellow loops at the end of the arms (use lock of cause) and you think bikes are safe... WRONG!!! to steal you bike all thief has to do is disengage straps on cradles, pull carrier arm pins out and now you can remove bikes of the rack one-by-one, no special tools required, hah! this is what I call "a weekend project"... for an almost $400 rack these design flaws just unacceptable... Rated 5 out of 5 by Very solidly built! Although I haven't driven anywhere with this rack yet, I am impressed with it's solid build and expert welds. The patented cantilever design will work perfectly on our RV as we have a rear slideout. The instructions on how to assemble it leave a lot to be desired but I worked through it. Dick's did a great job of getting it delivered to me on time and their price was very competitive. October 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Product This is an excellent bike rack for someone that does not leave it attached to the hitch. It is very easy to install and remove. I have been using it for 4 months now. Have to watch the anti-sway cradles to make sure they are securely connected as they have a tendency to come off after unloading your bicycle. There is also a nice video review to watch on youtube. September 10, 2014
