áby Chip Polara Polishes Geezer Game
I'm a golfer who took up the sport late in life and can use all the help I can get to keep the ball in play or better yet, in the fairway. I've used Polara balls exclusively for nearly two years now and am extremely pleased with their performance (and by extension, mine).
While I've taken steps to enhance my ball striking skills, the Polara balls provide the additional spin control, direction consistency, and distance efficiency (straightness) that keep my scores (high 80s to low 90s) respectable for a "geezer hacker."
With Polara I consistently hit most of the fairways and even the par 3 greens. On the drives, I've found that the few balls that go left or right at least go straight (no slices or hooks), with the problem being traced back to my swing path, not the ball. As a result of Polara's flight consistency, I was able to adjust my backswing and strike path to send the ball up the center of the fairway.
Polara has correspondingly worked well on my approach shots with the fairway woods. One problem I am having (like many amateur golfers) is with the approach shots from 80-30 feet out. While I still have to develop the knowledge and confidence with various wedges to get the right distance strikes, the Polara balls consistently perform as advertized--i.e. they go straight where I aim.
I recommend Polara balls to any golfer who is out to enjoy the game and is working to build consistency in one's overall performance.

Normally hit Bridgestone e-6 180 yds in fairway 80%. of my drives. With Polara XD it was
200-210 every drive down the middle. I was able to relax on the back nine because I knew my drive would leave me in great position for my approach shot.
