Great ball for a great REDUCED price This really is a great ball. I played soccer from the age of 5 through the current time. In high school my coach bought Select balls for the team balls. I have had about every brand of ball in my live, and they all lead to patches missing, seams ripping, or bladder getting holes in them. Select has always lasted about twice as long as the others and the feel of the ball never really goes. I have recently bought a few balls and have noticed some difference. One thing about this ball compared to others is the thickness of the poly. It is 1800 vs 1500 on others (whatever that means). All I know is it is thicker. There is definitely a high shine on the ball which will take some time to wear down. I also bought the select 10 turf and there is almost no finish which I actually prefer. The stitching and shape are great. All around value, I only rated at average because I don't think the ball is worth $60. I doubt I would think any ball is worth that much. We will tell in time, but when they ran the half off sale $30 is a great value! December 19, 2012
