Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 93 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great inexpensive tri suit Needed a wetsuit for a sprint tri and a half IM next month. My brother just paid $200+ for a name brand and it already tore. Didn't want to break the bank so I bought this. Tried it out last night for a 1.2 mile swim and it was awesome. I paid [$] in the store. It was bouyant and comfortable and could have stayed in the water a lot longer without getting cold. Can't wait to try it in the ocean this weekend. I don't know how durable it is but if it lasts a season it's well worth it. July 25, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Goos deal I needed a wet suit for a triathlon and didn't want to spend a lot of money. This suit worked great and was a great price. June 13, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Although ordered two sizes larger, still need help zipping up I am 5'9", 192 lb so after reading previous reviews,I ordered two sizes larger XXL. I still needed help zipping up. because of 52" chest size. Maybe a very slim built male because of manufacture body length and arm opening in no way would advertised 235 lb 6'3" frame fit into this. Rated 4 out of 5 by Worked well in open water swim! I looked for reviews from people who did open water and triathlon swims, and all of them were satisfied with this wetsuit and said it performed well for them, so I took a chance. I couldn't see spending two or three hundred for a suit since I'm not looking to compete at high level. This one was JUST the thing I needed! I couldn't turn down the $50 price, and hear that it may be on sale in the fall! Watch for that! I swim both freestyle and butterfly in open water events (sometimes butterfly exclusively), and had no problem with either stroke while wearing this. The event I was in and my practice river swims were in water 68-72 degrees which caused many people to drop out, but after the initial trickle of water down my spine, the suit kept biceps to knees comfortable and flexible throughout my swim. Unlike my friend struggling to put on his full leg wetsuit, this shorty is a breeze to get in and out of without struggle. I added Bodyglide at the openings out of habit, but I'm not sure I even needed to do that. After the swim while showering at home, I rinsed it off and wrapped it in my own towel after I dried off, and carried it to a nice spot to drip and dry for the next time. I'm loving this suit. NEVER RAISE THE PRICE PLEASE! June 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Price Training for my first Triathlon....on sale for $39.00! Have done a couple of open water training swims. Seem's like it will work....sure it's not sleeveless like the BIG $$$$ Tri suits...but I'm not fast enough to worry about that! July 4, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Shorty!!! Got the medium. I am 5'10" at 155lbs. Was snug. Does it's job. Seems durable. Holds heat. Doesn't take on much water. Zipper rip cord works well. June 11, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great fit I bought the DBX wetsuit because of the price ([$] fathers day sale) and was really worried about fit. I'm 5'11" 240 and the 2x fit great. Not to long in the arm (fit to elbow) and just above the knee, I was afraid that they would be to long in those areas because of my height, no problems. I surf in SoCal where the water in the summer is above 65* most of the time so it's warm enough and comfortable. Paddles easy and not constricting. Overall I'll give it four stars because it"s new and not sure of durability yet. Good suit. June 25, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fit well, good price I'm 6' and 170 pounds and the large fits me perfectly. Don't worry if you have a gut, you can squeeze it in there fatty. I was worried about the quality. Seeing as how I would only use it about 2-3 times a year I thought I couldn't lose for $45. It seems to be pretty well constructed. For the price, you can not go wrong. July 30, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Perfect for the price, works great in cool water My first purchase was an XL - which was a bit big according to the size chart. But I'd read the reviews, and heard they run "small." Nope. Not squeezing into it. Had to go back and get an XXL - according to DBX, I am a MONSTER! LOL! XXL fit my 5-11" 195lb bod very well, and so far the function ha been just fine. Not sure what I'd do if I gained ten pounds though... Zipper could be a bit longer down the back to facilitate easier removal, but also not bad. April 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice This is my first wetsuit of any kind. Fits nice and snug as it should, but I can still move around just fine. Planning on late/ early season kayaking with this. BTW, I'm 5'7" and 170. Med size is fine from the sizing chart. September 18, 2014
