Quality Cover, shape, balance, but not thermally bonded This ball is very nice if you can get it at a good price. Thick TPU microfiber cover (1.8mm, amoung the thickest, giving iit great wear qualities to support long life). The thick cover makes it a bit stiffer/harder when it is cold outside, so it is not my favorite ball for night games, but is for games at noon time. The ball has sealed seems, but they are NOT thermally bonded (which is the ultimate in sealing). Only Adidas is offering a thermally bonded ball at a good price these days, everyone else is reserving thermal bonding for their top-of-the-line ball if they offer it at all. This is one of the best size 4 soccer balls available on the market for younger players. It is a great lasting ball for sizes 4 and 5, well balanced and holding up well in team use. If you play in a cold climate (below 55F), you probably want to spend money on a thinner cover ball instead that will play better in that temperature, but which won't last as long. February 9, 2013
disappointed The ball came deflated and folded up in a small box, which can hurt the overall shape if it's kept like that for too long. The leather is not as soft/supple as the $40 Adidas ball we had been using for the past 2 years. Also having difficulty getting the right psi pressure in it. December 31, 2012
