Callaway HEX Chrome Yellow Golf Balls
Know the conditions of the greens before committing to this ball.
These are good balls but for the price they should be better. But they are yellow and that is why I bought them. But if I just need a ball to play my weekend game at the local muni then a ball $14 less expensive will work. They have a firm feeling which I like but lack control around the greens. I am not expecting them to perform like Pro V's because they aren't. They feel better to me but they are lacking. If you plan to use these on firm and fast greens it will be hard to get short shots really close on certain shots. These just roll out a bit too much. If you are playing in a tournament or something like that, spend a little more and to with the Bridgestone yellow. They provide you with more control on fast greens.

Good ball for the price
Soft and long off the tee, fair around the greens.

Great Ball - Long and Reliable Spin!
I have been playing the Hex Chrome Yellow in recreational and tournment play for a year and love the consistancy and distance. Hex Chrome is long off the driver and I can stop it dead even on the fastest greens. I play with many PGA professionals (Most of them senior status) and they use the ball too! In white, but I love the yellow, as it is easy to see and builds confidence over putts. Scored my first hole in one with the Hex Chrome Yellow!! Awesome! (188 Yd - 6 Iron)

The greatest benefit of this ball is that it is yellow.
As for the ball, I did not notice any improvement in my ball control or distance. The greatest benefit of this ball is the color. With a yellow ball, I was always able to find my ball and therefore cut down the amount of balls I lost.

Just as good as the top level balls
I wanted to try these because of great online reviews. I thought I would give up some spin around the green, but was willing to play a ball with a little less spin. On the first hole I played with this ball I hit a low checker towards the cup for an easy 4 inch tap in! You will not be disappointed with this ball because you are not giving anything up. I also like the yellow as I can see it better on a clear day. One negative with the color is I can't follow it as well when it is cloudy.

I purchased these for my son. He said they are the best for a moderate swing. I saw the extra distance he attained.

best feel, good distance and yellow!
Price is reasonable and feel and spin are unmatched. There are longer balls for those that swing faster than 100 mph but for 99% of us this is the best all around ball. I am a four handicap and have tried a lot of balls.

Another PGA pro was using these at an event and I was curious to try them. As it is, a white ball disappears at the height of the trajectory and sometimes I can see it land if light is right. This ball, however is almost always visible, and as you approach the green, you know if you are putting or chipping. Takes some guesswork out of it. Also think the Chrome goes a little farther off the short irons, but rolls nicely on the driver. More distance, better visibility-very nice. Low scores reduce stress!
