Great overall! I've played Basketball for about 3 years now and always hit the floor hard while driving to the hoop. My father bought me these and now whenever I hit the floor from a difficult layup or taking a charge, the pads absorb it and the fall does NOT hurt at all. They do make your thighs look huge though. Nike Pro Combat Hyperstrong Compression Shorts I play pro basketball for the LoneStar Law of the American Basketball League. This is a D-League for the International Basketball League. My Nike Pro Combat Shorts are a Godsend. They allow me to fly around the court like a reckless eagle with complete confidence that a guards life-line (legs) are protected and free at the same time. Serious ballers, serious product I have purchased the every series of the pro combat shorts over the years. I must say, I think they have it right with this one. Although they run very small (Nike in general), they play like regular compression shorts. They're very lightweight and do not shift in padded areas as earlier models have. Only downside is the price. $60 for compressions is a stretch, even padded ones. They're are other brands cheaper but I'm a swoosh guy since my AAU days. With that said, only if you play high level basketball would these be worth the investment. If cash isn't an issue then you will be very happy with these shorts......machine wash and hang dry! Love this product I use this product for playing basketball It's great for people who drive to the basket a lot an end up getting fouled an falls down the padding does help Only problem is that it slips down during play so I have to pull it back up September 20, 2012
