Application These alpha training grip are a phenomenonal product for any bar calisthenics orientated workouts. They do not pinchlike rregular gloves at the point where fingers meet your hands; not when performing pullups or muscle ups. January 28, 2015
Protects hands well, but also get in the way I went in looking for the standard leather grips, but they didn't have any in my size, so I got these. They do indeed protect the hands from rips, but they're very thick, and don't allow you to "feel" the bar as well. I've used them for pull-ups (strict and kipping) and toes-to-bar sets. They do slip on and off easily, which comes in handy in a for-time workout. So far they've worked OK, but I've already ordered some leather grips to use, and will keep these as back-ups. Get them if you need full hand protection and aren't so much concerned with actual bar contact. January 27, 2015
How did I live without these? I've been using these grips for about 6 weeks now and I absolutely LOVE them. My hands were getting all torn up from lifting. I'm not a fan of wearing gloves and don't like the pressure that wraps put on my wrists so these grips were the perfect solution for me. It's worth mentioning that I bought a pair for a friend of mine a couple weeks ago and she loves them too but said they did start to slip on her when she got real sweaty. I'm not a real big sweater so they've never failed for me. January 27, 2015
Good grip for push and curl exercises I used them curling, benching and military and they added that not slip grip which made me feel that i had better control of the weight. I tried using them for deadlifts and reverse curls and had the opposite effect. December 15, 2014
Good grip, bad shape and material. This works great for when lifting no matter what;yet, the material is not the best. It lost its shape after a couple of sessions at the gym ad sweats when it's supposed to not do so and make it easier for you to grasps onto weights. December 3, 2014
Saw similiar product on Shark Tank. Product provides more support for the hands when performing exercises such as; bench press, shoulder press, associated exercises. The only negative is the surface that is in contact with the hands has ribs, and under pressure, leaves indents in hands. Also, I prefer leather gloves when performing push-ups, pull-ups, and curls due to the welts left on the hands from the pressure. December 3, 2014
Great Product Great product with great grip and overall protection for your hands from getting calluses. Only fault in my opinion, is that I wear a large in every other type of glove, so I bought a large but wished I had bought a medium, the material seems to stretch a bit and becomes loose. Great grip but I want women's size This has improved my grip doing deadlifts, pull ups etc. I give it a 3 star only because they don't have this for women, I bought a small size in men size and it's a bit big on my girly hands. November 5, 2014
Too rough. These would provide great grip except that the part that your hand rests against isn't smooth. I tried them for deadlifting and the backs of my hands had groves from the pads. Overall would be ok for light lifting but not recommended for heavier lifts. August 12, 2014
Pure comfort in weight lifting. They do exactly what I need them to do. I get the grip that I need and they protect the palms and base of my palms. I had an operation a year and a half ago at the bottom part of my palm on my left hand and it is painful when I am benching higher weights. I feel no discomfort whatsoever when I use the Training Grips. I couldn't be happier with the product. July 2, 2014
