Rated 5 out of 5 by zoo volunteer Sooo comfortable
These pants are very comfortable, fit well, and great for camping, hiking and traveling. They are somewhat stain resistant. Wash in cold water and don't put them in the dryer. They dry very quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by talula10 Great Pants!!!
"You get what you pay for" and these are SO worth the money! Camping with my son's Boy Scout Troop, I didn't want to resort to the standard boy scout issued pants. These by Columbia are super comfortable, cool and can be worn with a base layer for added warmth. They are true to the claim that they resist rain and stains. So glad I got them and will probably get more!

Rated 3 out of 5 by rebb02 zipper part too tight.
The material is great, the color is as shown, but the fit in the leg doesn't seem right. The part on the thigh where the zipper connects the "shorts" to the pant leg is too tight. If you're standing it's fine but as soon as you move or lift your leg, it's too tight on the thigh. I won't be able to wear these for hiking...which is why I bought them. I bought a size 4 and everything fits fine except for the thigh. They will be going back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Smith1965 For women with skinny legs, not comfortable!
The feel great until you try to sit down. There is no give in the area where the pant legs zipper off, when you sit down, the pants naturally slide up, and get tight on your upper leg.
These must be made for women with extremely small legs. I am 5'10" and weigh 135 pounds, I had to get a size 10 and wear a belt just so they would be more comfortable on my legs when sitting. If I wouldn't have been desperate and leaving to go on a trip, I would not have bough these.
I don't recommend these pants, they were expensive as well for a product that doesn't have a good fit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Sheepies96 Needs some improvements
These pants are a very nice stretchy fabric and fit true too size. However they need better pockets. They only have one cargo pocket instead of two and the one it does have is almost unusable. It is so small I cannot get my hand in it. I use convertible pants for travel and hiking so I need the cargo pockets! Needless to say I returned these. Hopefully Columbia comes up with a better design because it's hard to find stretch convertible pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Traveller Great price for a great product!
These light weight trail pants are perfect for a day long hike, an afternoon bike ride or an evening walk. One quick pull of the zipper and the pants turn into a pair of shorts. Two articles of clothing for the price of one.
Washing could not have been easier and I hung them out to line dry which took very little time because of the fabric. The added bonus is the thicker waist band on the back which allows you to bend down without and under garments or body parts showing.
You can't go wrong with this purchase and the price is a lot less than competitive stores. Once again Dick's rocks!
