Great bench. I've been looking for some time for a bench like this. The seat is about 2"-3" lower than my flat-incline-decline bench which is perfect for doing shoulder presses on my smith machine. I used to hit the top sitting on my other bench. Those couple of inches made all the difference. It was quick to put together. The slight backward angle of the back rest is comfortable for doing shoulder presses, better than a straight-up 90 degree angle. It's light and easy to move around, yet quite sturdy.

The main reason for purchasing this bench was to allow me to use the smith bar for shoulder presses and still have my back supported. Most utility benches have you seated to far forward without enough base clearance to get the bench back to a point where the smith bar can be used. This worked great! Plus the back rest is cut lower than most benches. This allows me to lean back slightly during shoulder presses and take some of the stress off the joint. Very pleased with this purchase.

This was a perfect gift for someone who didn't have room for a full bench but wanted support to work out with dumbbells. Easy to assemble and well made parts.
