Rated 2 out of 5 by jasonm23 DO NOT SINK! DO NOT SINK! The Pelican Solo Kayak does NOT hold 140 lbs. of weight. The weight capacity is more like 105 lbs. Also, keep in mind the weight of paddles, shoes, equipment or anything else on board. The listings for 140 lbs. on all websites for this kayak are not accurate. Very important! June 26, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Kevinthenurse Not your typical use... My pup is way to big to fit in my sit-in's cockpit. I was looking for something that wouldn't make him feel trapped. So I pull him behind me in this small kayak. Its very light, not a lot of "drag". I hardly even notice I'm pulling it. July 1, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by kayak-toting mom just what we wanted my 8 year old wanted a kayak, and this one fit the bill. It's wider so it won't roll easily, comes with a paddle, and short enough (6ft) and light enough (19 lbs) that I can carry it to the river for her with no problem. It's also very durable and well-built. I see lots of fun happening with this little boat. June 18, 2012
