These shoes have great support I like this shoe so much that I have bought two pairs in different colors. Merrill's are great shoes to begin with, and these offer exceptional support and comfort when walking, standing, climbing stairs. I have back problems and need shoes like this with soles that "give" when I step but also keep me stable. These shoes are also attractive - I like the subtle colors. Most walking shoes have bold bright colors that limit what you can wear them with. May 8, 2013
Nice Shoe I have arthritis in my feet and I'm very picky on my shoes. I need far better than average arch support, I usually wear $110+ Brooks shoes but these Merrells caught my eye, and I tried them on, I brought some home from the store in Appleton WI, wore them 10 minutes around the house and decided I needed a half size bigger (my arthritis is #1 culprit in this size up thing). I took the shoes back to the store but they didn't have the size I needed in stock, so I ordered on-line with confidence, Sure enough,when they arrived, they fit perfectly. I think these shoes are comparable to the Brooks shoes I've worn in the past so I feel I've just saved myself $50. Of course, it'll be a few months before I can discuss long term wear. If you are inclined to like these, then I'd say go for it! May 6, 2013

color not what I expected Although I am in love with Merrill products, I was let down by the color of this pair. The grey and lilac appeared to be more dark brown and pink. I will be returning this pair. January 20, 2013
Just What I Expected I recently purchased these shoes to take along on my future trip to Salt Lake City. We are planning on hiking in the mountains there; these shoes will be just what I need. I love my shoes! These shoes were soooo comfy from day one. I wait tables and do a bit of exercise in them and they are great! Good arch support and I did not need another insole! They do run a little smaller than the merrell siren which I usually wear so I would order a half size bigger. Plus they a slightly less expensive than other merrells August 14, 2012
