Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Very nice safe/cabinet especially for the price. This isn't my first gun cabinet but would do for a very good first. It is a little small for a 10 gun case but other than that I'm very satisfied. Do keep in mind that its only sheet metal and won't be an effective SAFE in an emergency. However, hoping and praying that never happens, I'm sure I will use this for a very long time. As I said before, I think its a good product with a great price tag. June 14, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good cabinet for the money This is a good cabinet to start with to protect your guns in your home. The locking mechanism is very solid and feels secure when it's shut. It's not very heavy, but does include mounting materials to screw into either a wall or the floor. The only downfall is that the upper shelf limits the length of guns that can be stored. I have a few long rifles that I was only able to put on the side (in front of the shelf). That being said, it's a great cabinet for a smaller collection, especially for the price. May 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Cabinet and value Not going to repeat things already stated. Nice little feature is that you cannot remove the key from the door while it's open. Add your safe key to your home keychain and you will never worry about leaving the house with the safe open. Screw this thing into the wall and add weights inside and you'll cause some trouble for a thief. April 20, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Security and peace of mind With family and friends coming over and a curious son and his friends I needed a place to secure my guns. Looks good and feels sturdy when opening and closing. The foam divider/rests are a little flimsy but for $99 that I paid for the cabinet I can customize the inside later. Right now it holds 3 long guns, a pistol and ammo. The keys and locking mechanism are substantial and solid feeling. The footprint is about the area of a 4-droor file cabinet so it does not take up a lot of real estate. It is a great price for the security and peace of mind you get. April 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Cabinet for a Good Price. Bought this in store using a $20 off coupon. Can't beat it for $105.00. Got help loading it in the car and everything. Will replace the barrel rests at some point but for now its all good. February 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by awesome my first gun safe and its awesome it is light but they give you bolts to bolt it to the ground but it is easy to set up and its great for just a safe to keep the kids away from it and such but if you want to get it thinking you will get robbed then don't get a safe not a cabinet. Rated 4 out of 5 by Fantastic value for a gun cabinet! The cabinet itself is solid and there's nothing rickety about it. However, as others have said the wimpy floor foam and pretentious barrel holder foam will surely need to be replaced in short order. For the price of this cabinet I am exceedingly happy with the value and don't mind putting a couple dollars into some good foam. Thanks Stack-on for such a great value and thanks Dicks for having one in stock! May 29, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by This product is a good buy for the money. The cabinet is solid and good looking. The lock works smoothly. The shelf has enough room for my pistol, cleaning kit and all of my ammo. The only disappointment was the gun deviders, they are foam and not very strong. Overall I think the cabinet is a good buy. April 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by 10 Gun cabinet Great product for the price. Key lock lever is very secure. Only flaw on 10 and 8 gun is the barrel holders are foam unlike the hard plastic ones with scope holders in the larger cabinets. Hard to store a scoped rifle. Otherwise quality is good. December 24, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Cheap Cabinet I have a toddler and a newborn. I used to keep my guns in the closet, (with trigger locks), but I was starting to get nervous; especially since the oldest is starting to get curious. My friend suggested a gun safe, but I laughed, because most safes cost more than my combined gun collection value. I have two .22 rifles and a 20 gauge shotgun. This cabinet is perfect to keep my guns and ammo secure and my children safe without a huge investment. I love the locking mechanism. It feels secure. When I turn the key, I can feel the weight of the steel clanking into place. I like that I can buy a cabinet to put on top. However, It's an almost mandatory accessory, because the little half-depth shelf that comes in the cabinet is too small to put much on. The foam that goes on the floor and that you stick to the walls to hold your guns up feels cheap. I'm sure it won't take long for it to start dry rotting. There are four holes in the back and it was easy to secure the cabinet to the wall. Would I buy it again? Definitely. December 4, 2012
