Great on Grass or Indoors I purchased this sled about a month ago. On my 8th use one of the legs holding the back skid broke. I think it was due to use on pavement. I used it mainly on grass but moved to pavement for the last 2 workouts since my yard was wet. I don't think the metal on this sled can handle the bouncing caused by use on hard surfaces. Store where I bought it took it back and I got a new one that I use on grass or indoors only. Great workout and value. Stay away from pavement. April 5, 2013
power sled so far it's been awesome. seems to hold up well. i've owned it for about 3 weeks. i've had 410lbs on it. may upgrade to a regular prowler if this one doesn't hold up for at least a year. March 24, 2013
This product works great. Purchased this item for my sons. We use it to condition for football on the weekends. It's really easy to use with the weights. Works really well. We have had no problems. I really recommend this product. March 20, 2013
Impressed I'm a strongman competitor, powerlifter, and, mostly, just a fitness oriented guy. This was a great alternative to much more expensive similar products. I am very happy with this purchase and this is, possibly, my new favorite piece of equipment. I cannot say enough good about this product. Kind of a booger putting together, but not too bad. Prowler As a trainer this product is awesome. I train atheletes, and no matter what sport they play this can be used. Great for power and explosiveness! This is a great sled for beginners; however, for serious athletes this product may not hold the weight. Overall, great product! January 24, 2013
It was ok The sled I purchased for my boyfriend and we build it together but I don't think the product was built well and you could tell it was a returned item from a prior purchase. The item was missing a screw and the item didn't line up well with the wholes because we couldn't get a screw to go in because the lining wasing right. December 31, 2012
quality piece for the price Haven't used outdoors yet, but can't wait to see how the skis hold up. Have been using it on a rubber floor in my gym. Works good on the rubber when using the vertical poles, not when using the low horizontal grips. Used the straps to pull the sled toward me hand-over-hand. Would have been better if I had a rope. That will come next. If you don't want to spend the money for a Prowler or a Rogue sled this sled is or you. The most I've put on so far is 200 lbs. Not sure how this would work if you were putting serious weight on it and pushing. At 46 I'm not sure I would outgrow and have to upgrade to Prowler or Rogue. November 20, 2012
