Great as long Boxer Brief I have purchased a large number of different styles of underwear trying to find the most comfortable. When i saw this style, it looked interesting with the multiple panels forming the front and back, roomy stretchy pouch, and with the wide waistband that has a lot of stretch and is substantial enough to resist roll over. Also, being different from other sliders (that I have also tried including others of this brand and other well known brands) in that the sides are not "over" padded, The sides consist of a thick material rather than an actual pad, and it is coated with a material (forming the black pattern seen on the sides) that seems to strengthen the sides. Initially tried it with the knee pads intact, but not needing them, they were trimmed off, forming basically a long boxer brief, and worn without a cup. ---- WOW,--- this IS the most comfortable and actually interestingly good feeling (sexy feeling) garment I have ever used. I purchased another example and cut about four inches of the bottom of the legs off above knee pads, forming a long boxer brief about the length of the Jockey Midway style. This was even greater feeling as now the legs didn't have a tendency to pull the rest of the garment down, as was a slight tendency of the longer leg version. Also found this extremely comfortable for sleepwear. Nike or somebody should use this design to make a long boxer brief underwear using this exact style, minus the knee pads and with the legs a bit larger right at the bottom, or shorter to the :mid thigh length. I bought a third and tried it at "trunk" length with most of the legs cut off. That was also extremely comfortable and great fun to wear, but I think I like the mid thigh length best, I'll probably cut the current longer one to that length. It's a bit expensive for a boxer brief, but i think most who try it would agree that it is well worth the cost, especially if you manage to find some at a good discount. Cut off the bottom of the legs, put it on, and ENJOY. It also looks rather neat when cut to the Mid thigh length. If you do cut one, start with just the pad area, and take an inch at a time until you find your "perfect" length. March 1, 2015
Nice idea - knee pads, eh The all inclusive slider, jock/cup holder, and knee pads are nice. The knee pads should be made thicker. Shipping time by Dicks was the worst. Eleven days. February 26, 2015
Poor everything sizing is way off... there is not padding on the sides like any other sliding pants, just awful... doesn't worth even half the price..! the idea is good but thats it... June 26, 2014

Great fit and protection These sliding pants are great. They fit well and provide great protection March 26, 2014
Returned To Store I put these on and they reminded me of wearing football pants because the knee pads didn't fit tightly to my legs. I put my baseball pants over them and they rolled up at the knee. Not comfortable at all. Not recommended. March 15, 2014
Not like previous pair Ordered a pair similar to these last college baseball season and loved them. This pair a little differant style and fit. Seem to be longer in the knee. February 18, 2014
Disappointed in new version I had the old Pro Combat sliding shorts. I loved them. Only complaint is that sometimes the built in knee pads were a little low... but then again I had the L and I'm only 5'10". I was extremely disappointed in the new version because of the knee pads. It appears they wanted to make them more comfortable by making the back of the knee pads arch up so they didn't bunch up behind your knee. This made the front part of the knee pad rather floppy. The old ones weren't like this and I was never uncomfortable. I however don't use these for baseball. So maybe they would function better with baseball pants over them... but I only wear shorts over them. I would recommend trying to find the old version of these shorts, or just go for a different product all together. January 24, 2014
