Customer Reviews:

Rated 5 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by A winner! A bit heavy for our trip to Africa, but excellent viewing. It performed well in bright and dim light. We also found it does well for bird watching and simply viewing at the lake or ocean. August 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by best in class These were purchased for an elk hunt next year and I looked at a lot of optics. I kept going up in price range until I no longer could tell the difference or could no longer justify the price difference. These will definitely last me a life time and finding them on sale and purchasing them with Giant Eagle gift cards made them even a better deal. There is a second Monarch5 binoculars out there by Nikon which costs $40 more. I spoke with Nikon and learned that it was a slight difference in the molding of the body. This was not worth it to me so I went with the older style and saved the money. December 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by 5 star but!!! The binoculars were great but not for football games as I thought they would be. I need a small, wide range (football field) to see more of the action without much change. Other wise a good product. November 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great value Startlingly clear optics, smooth controls; these will be excellent for my upcoming deer hunt. Compared to my previous pair of Bushnell 10x42's, these are like 3D vision. September 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for our needs We replaced old binoculars with new. We chose a proven brand name and these fit our needs to a tee. June 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by great value Shopped for new binos for month or so. Decided on nikon monarch 5 after side by side comparison with vortex, bushnell, leupold, and others of similar price/quality. Even put thwm up against the swarovski and leica $1K binos. Nothing compares to thw quality of the leica binos. Swarovski are better than the nikon, too. The difference though does not warrant the price difference. Nikons were better than their competitors for my eyes. With free shipping, my 10% online discount, and dicks already $69 lower price than bass pro, I paid less than $280! I couldn't find them that cheep on ebay. Great product at a great price. I have been using them in the field for three weeks and I am impressed with daylight and evening performace. Used in both open and wooded environments. June 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Happy! I got these to watch wildlife and birds. Just the right size and easy to use. The price was excellent since I've been searching for awhile now for a good quality pair. June 13, 2013
