Rated 5 out of 5áby Simple and effective Works great. I take on camping trips and its awesome because the fuel is lite compact and can fit in side the stove its self. I used it to cook soup one time the power went out just take a few minutes.then you can blow out the fuel tab and use the rest later.all in all simple and effective October 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Nice and small Works great for a single meal. It does what it says it does. August 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great Backup Or Emergency Stove This is a neat little stove. It's inexpensive, small, lightweight and it can self store 5 fuel tabs inside. The base has two different settings to accommodate a mug or larger pot. I recommend the GSI stainless steel cup that nests perfectly with a Nalgene bottle - a great lightweight option. While I think this does well as a backup or emergency stove for a Bug Out Bag; I think there are better options out there for a primary stove - MSR Pocket Rocket or the Jetboil Zip, however these are much more expensive. I don't like the inability to control the flame - it's either lit or not lit. There is also a little bit of an odor - especially noticeable in an enclosed environment. This stove would be perfect in a pinch. A plus of the fuel tabs is they can be used to help light a fire or provide warmth on their own - they burn for about 10 minutes at 1300░. July 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby i like this stove it got this on the weekend it fits well in my bug out was the best 10 dollars i spend June 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby This product is great for its price / usefulness. I enjoy camping and nature hikes. Having a small, easily portable stove like the Esbit pocket stove means I can boil water and prepare food without having to set up a full size camp fire. The stove itself can hold several cubes inside it while folded and you can slip it right into your pocket. April 29, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5áby Hot pocket...stove The Germans are well known for smart designs. This product is no exception. While trying to keep my emergency kit lightweight and compact, I have searched for a small stove designed for short duration burns with a safe and stable fuel. This is the item that met my requirements at a bargain price. I appreciate the ease of use, the compact design, and the fact that I can store five bricks of fuel in the stove while it is packed. Rated 2 out of 5áby Decent and good backup This is a well-made product and good to have for boiling water or starting fire, as a backup, but not as your primary stove when backpacking. Worth the low price, though. August 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby Esbit Pocket stove great for hiking and emergency stove source I just bought a second Esbit Pocket Stove. I have one in my bug out backpack, and the second one in my hiking backpack. They are small, lightweight but do the job when needed. August 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great product I have used alcohol stoves for a while, and decided to try the Esbit pocket stove, which has been around since World War II. The little stove is no bigger than a deck of cards, and the fuel tablets are about the size of a pat of butter. I was surprised at the intensity of the heat produced, and how quickly one tab boils a couple of cups of cold water. The stove itself can be improved upon with a windscreen made of tin foil or aluminum roof flashing. I'm planning to use the Esbit on my next Appalachian Trail hike this fall. It's so very simple, and the tabs can also be used to start wood fires. July 22, 2013
