Recommended for old guys

I've used this brand of brace for over 10 years. After severe sprains took months to heal, I've worn these braces on both ankles 2-3 times a week when playing pick-up basketball. Somewhat confused by reviews complaining of durability, discomfort. Although they are a little cumbersome, after a couple weeks of break-in, they are not a source of discomfort. They can cause some discomfort in ankle area until broken in, and you do need to wear them consistently to be used to them. Shoes should be sized to accommodate, and quality socks are a must. I generally machine wash once a month; replace after 3-4 years. Have found them to be durable and reliable. As far as effectiveness, I can only say I've suffered no severe sprains in wearing them over 10 years.

I've had a couple of ankle braces and this is by far the worst. It just doesn't mold to the foot and is poorly made.

dont buy this or u will be making the biggest mistake of ur lives. these things are so cheap because after about 5 to 10 uses, they'll wear out and stop working
