Baden AXE Maple Composite Bat (-3) 5 5 1 1
The Kid Loves This Bat! So, I order this bat for my son for a couple reasons: The first was the cool handle. Looks like a no brainer to put less stress on the bottom hand when swinging thru the hitting zone. Second, I love a wood bat with a warranty. The 2nd to last bat I bought for my son which I cant name but it broke in about 35 days from 1st use. Stuff happens I guess. So now he has a taped up $140 hitting cage bat. This is probably not indicative of future results but he did take the Axe to his first high school game and basically used it right out of the box. I asked him to use his LS bat but the temptation was too great and he pulled the Axe out first time up. Long story short, he was 2-4 with a line drive over LF's head with 3 RBIs. Fourth time up was a long fly out which scored a run so he was well pleased and the dad is really pleased! March 18, 2014
