Rated 5 out of 5 by fishingaddict these catch bass when nothing else does this brand (yamamoto) and color (solid black) in particular, 3 inch or 4 inch almost never fail to get hits when nothing else does. When rigged texas style (hook shank thru head and barb buried in mid section) they rarely snag. If river fishing, cast 3/4 upstream and let sink to bottom; drag/reel in slowly, letting worm tumble with current over the bottom. with rod tip high--bass will typically initially grab tail, and so when feeling a strike, lower rod to supply some slack in line--let bass run with lure for a 2-3 seconds or feet, and then set the hook. the weight of this lure allows for ease of long casts, especially on an ultra light rod/line setup. particularly useful in rocky and/or weedy waters because of low propensity for hangups. when fishing shoreline, cast to waters edge and retrieve into deeper water, trying to sense any drop-offs. if you do feel a dropoff, let worm sink and sit for a few seconds before resuming retrieve. even smaller bass, which typically are close to shoreline, will go after this, but typically small bluegill (which also often hug the shallow shoreline) will leave it alone, another plus April 16, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tommyp1969 Great lure I have one of these rigged up on almost every outing I go on. One of the best lures you can use when the bite is slow. I've caught everything from 3" bluegill to 5 lb bass off of this lure. Texas rig it on a size 1 ewg with 4 lb test line and cast it out and let it work its magic. December 12, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Paully Yamamato Worms are the best for Bass I have used this companies bait for Three years, 80% of hits are from small mouth bass. Most others are Pike or Pickerel, use a size 2 razor hook so as you feel in bait works has fluid life like action October 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ace I like this product it works great. Great product will buy more when I need more. I would like other people known about these worms for future use September 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by ChopSocky No other worm will do I use these as a small presentation for finicky bass wacky style. All size bass can't resist. We catch everything from .5 pound to 4 pound bass on this 3" worm. Hook it with an o-ring in the middle and you will catch multiple fish off each worm. Yamamoto have the best colors available. The cheap senko imitators are not worth buying. They are a little expensive, but buy name brand senkos from Gary Yamamoto and you better buy a hook remover, because the fish choke em. August 12, 2014
