Rated 1 out of 5 by Dont buy I have been playing disc golf for a while and this is one disc I wish I never bought. I saw the flight numbers and thought it would be a good disc for me because of the -2 high speed turn. I was expecting a nice S shaped flight path but this disc but it was incredibly over stable. I throw discs like the destroyer and boss pretty well but the groove is awful. I would say the flight numbers should be 13-4-0-4. A friend of mine has two grooves as well. he bought the first and loved it but the second had the exact same issues mine has. Overall it is a wildly inconsistant mold that I would not recommend to anyone. July 22, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great driver, but you have to get it up to speed! OK gang. The speed rating is 13, which means if you don't have a super strong, FAST, throw, it will not fly as advertised. The speed rating refers to how fast you need to be able to throw it, not how fast it can go. With a 13 (that's the max) rating, you'd better have a least the arm and body speed of a minor league third baseman! You need to really get it moving for the glide, turn, and fade to kick in. Stick with lower speed ratings until you've got the arm. Until then, use it to hook around trees! February 18, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Not An Expert I have only been enjoying disc golf for about two years now, so I am no expert, but this is my go to disc for distance. I received it as a gift from a student of mine last Christmas and after a few throws on Christmas Eve I quickly got the hang of it. I have a number of other discs in my bag from Titanium Nukes to the Blizzard Champion Boss, but this is the disc I go back to again and again for consistent distance (350' +). I throw using a forehand flick and have to let it loose with quite a bit of speed at about a 30-40 degree angle to the left for a sweeping s-curve that finishes about where I want it. I have the 175g version of the disc. I would buy it again and am considering doing just that so that I have a back up in case I loose this one (The con is on days with a healthy cross wind the 40 degree release means that it can get carried pretty far off course - something that I need to work on). Rated 1 out of 5 by This disc is bad don't buy I bought this disc at the store and took it home and tried it out it and it didn't go far because it flips and then dives into the ground just hope I can get a refund June 15, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by groove I've tried multiple times, but I can't get this disc to drive. According to other online reviews the mold is inconsitant so getting a good one is hit or miss. Good luck... April 19, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by A very difficult driver to throw as a beginner. After practicing about 6 hrs with it over 3 days, I am finally throwing it with decent distance and some consistency. It does want to dive hard left right out of the gate. One must really try to over compensate turning it over to the right to get it to fly somewhat straight. I've changed the way I hold it and it has made a lot of difference. I'd have judged it a 2 on the loft and a 5 on the hook. It doesn't float well, probably due to its weight. On the flip side, it doesn't have to float long to carry a good distance, due to it being a very fast driver. I haven't tried it, yet, but I suspect because of these two things, it may be a much stronger driver against a tough headwind. August 1, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not near what expected I bought this thing to give me good distance and i can throw my speed 6 driver just as far. it turns over like its heavy on the left side right away and nosedives into the ground. Was not at all what i was hoping for, now just hoping for a refund June 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Gift I purchased this item not fully understanding what I was buying. I read other reviews and made a choice. Apparently I did well. Those who left feedback must have been fairly accurate. The item came quickly, was packaged well, was exactly as described, appears to be made of very good quality. I feel I received a great price. My son was very excited to receive this item as a gift this Christmas. He was amazed at the quality, weight, everything. He couldn't wait to use them. I would definately buy from Dick's on-line again. December 28, 2012
